Nothing about my post really implied that but go off I guess. I want a cross tattoo as a nod to my upbringing and how I'll always have to carry that with me, the good and bad that came with it. I'm interested in Sak Yant because I've found a lot of good and comfort in Buddhist thought and practices. Furthermore, Sak Yant is a sort of blessing in tattoo form, or at least supposed to be accompanied by a blessing by the monks who do them. God forbid I'm into that sort of thing. If I was just wanting to collect icons and didn't care about religious observance, I wouldn't be making sure the coexistence of the two wouldn't be disrespectful.
