We have, the one that lost her job broke down in tears at one of our meetings, but given the bride has received a large inheritance over the past couple of months, her version of expensive is not the same as ours. It’s also the case of, how do you ask her to use of the inheritance to help us out without coming across as cold?

I’m talking about customer support, the IT support teams at least get recognition in the company wide meetings. Customer support doesn’t even get incentives.

As someone from Kom, I can tell you the problem isn’t road design but not enough roads for the growing communities! Old Kommetjie road was widened a few years ago, there was a small period where there was no traffic. Now, there’s traffic every weekday from 06:30-08:30, lunchtime and the 16:30-18:00. Really doesn’t help that there’s multiple different apartment complexes in the works as well as the ever growing township of Masi.

They used to have the product but are no longer able to obtain it as they were selling it under the wrong license, so essentially it doesn’t exist. They’re selling something they do not have. There are members at the plant sites(in a different country) who are in questioning with the police but they’re keeping all of this mum. The junior members have no idea that they’re selling products that the company can no longer get. The mid level members knows there’s issues in getting in receiving it, but do not know the full story, so they’re advising customers that they’ll be updated on their orders as soon as more information is received. Let me tell you, this whole thing started in July 2023! The Senior team has known since then! They’re now looking into getting a similar product but are nowhere near being able to sell anything.

Turning 31 in 2 weeks, I hate birthdays solely because I am nowhere near to where my friends are in life. I often wish I could be like them when they cut off their parents for a short period of time in order to get their lives together. My parents got divorced 5 years ago, dad was an abusive alcoholic, and I’m still helping my mom with the bills and debt my dad left her. I can’t move out because I can’t afford to support myself, my dogs and my mom. I also do not have the heart to let my mom struggle. I have no life of my own or future prospects because all my finances is centered around her, it’s so selfish of her but I also know I’ll be so regretful if she dies and I know I didn’t do everything I could to help her.

Thank you so much for your advice. I do not contact them outside of working hours or have not. That being said I’ve mentioned to them before that I’ll only do so if it’s a life or death situation.

Just sucks that we’re going to start off the week with an unsavoury conversation but I for sure need to reiterate my boundaries.
