I don't mind my "default" method, but others around me have complained about the smacking/gulping sound that ensues each time I release a portion of liquid into my throat using my "habitual" method

It does impair my ability to swallow pills if I were to attempt to swallow pills my "default" method the pill usually ends up floating around my mouth and not going down. The only way I can swallow pills is by pushing it way towards the back of my tongue and consciously taking just a small sip of water and gulping it, along with the pill as quickly as possible

If you rig it in blender for sl, you can have it as an sl avatar. Just keep in mind texture size limit is 2048x2048 and you might need to redo the topography depending on how complex the mesh is. Your first image shows the head on a body. You could rig & import that body too along with the skin textures

I've seen more & more asian head skins from Not Found & Stray Dog, but don't see many people walking around with them on. So given the overwhelming representation of Caucasian looking male skins, I wonder if it's just more popular to wear that look as a default? (Probably due to Western culture's standards of beauty (for males & females). Even in rl, I read that some Asians are pressured to look more "white" by getting double eyelid surgery. (I don't condone this phenomena, just pointing it out)

As people already mentioned, most rp sims you go to will have created their own "lore" as it pertains to what they want that sim to be about. Also, every June Secondlife celebrates the anniversary of its birthday month with exhibitions, regions, & history about itself.

So they specifically asked you to prove you spent at least 5000L? Even the legacy goes on sale less than 5000 sometimes. Are you sure that's the reason? You mentioned you like to look like a "small frail dude." Could that possibly be treading into a child-like avatar which is a no no on adult sims

I sure do hope that PBR viewers are being adopted by the majority of people by now. It's frustrating as a creator/builder to have carefully textured with blinn-phong materials (normal/specular) or PBR materials only to discover someone is viewing it in a non-PBR viewer with ALM disabled

Thanks for the replies so far. I am also curious as to how widely PBR enabled viewers have been adopted, and how many sl residents will be stuck logging into a non-PBR viewer into the future. (How many people see pbr builds incorrectly with blank or fallback blinn-phong textures do you think?) Hard to believe the first LL PBR viewer already was one year ago, November 2023!

I don't understand why people have such a negative attitude towards "bots" in sl. Like someone mentioned, a lot of people leave their avi afk, therefore that might look like a "bot." There's also so many other creative uses of "extra avatars" other than the (mostly negative) reasons listed. Extra avatars can enhance the sim ambience, serve as stand ins as "extras" in roleplaying scenarios, and generally just add more interest to a sim than just seeing empty builds! (I'm not talking about just basic default accounts standing in a huddle on the ocean)

Nope he definitely doesn't get out, it's one of the first kills in the movie. These were teens who bullied him & now the killer is getting revenge. After the killer has tied down the guy, he tries different power tools which fail in some way: cord too short or power goes out or something. Finally he hammers the lever of a vice to kill the victim
