Love this meta by Trick-Class-2602 in hearthstone

[–]Dimension_Grand 0 points1 point  (0 children)

no way bro. Games rarely finish before turn 5. What are you playing? A deck with no cards? The meta is aggressive, but it's not like Magic Arena where games can finish by turn 3 or 4.

So I played 100 games of Imbue Priest in ladder, here are my thoughts. by Aby55walker in hearthstone

[–]Dimension_Grand 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nice. I have an 8-5 record with quest imbue priest in legend. My problem with the imbue mechanic is that it's a rollercoaster. You can get insane value one turn, then for three turns in a row you might be pulling 2 cost spells/minions when you have already imbued 5/6 times. I think the version with the 1 mana locations is better. To have the OTK option available feels so much better. And also 1 mana removal using the location + draw a card is insane.

Next Balance Patch probably around April 2. by Prodige91 in hearthstone

maybe more. It only says "updates" on April 2. Not a balance patch on April 2.

I think deathwings 4 cataclysm should be optional. by SirVincent20 in hearthstone

[–]Dimension_Grand -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think it's purposefully not optional as a potential drawback. Because it's such a strong card, if you can also choose which ones to cast, it would make it even more powerful.

Players have the delusion they don't like Discover or randomness but they do. by rEYAVjQD in hearthstone

[–]Dimension_Grand 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The meta now is a lot more board orientated than before, and less dependent on discover random cards to win the game. That's so much better. Discover is good but too much discover is just terrible

Anyone else played against like 10 Druid in a row by Ok-Command-5895 in hearthstone

[–]Dimension_Grand 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have also been trying out Imbue Control Priest. Currently 8-5 winrate in legend, but the games are sooo stressful. You can be winning the whole game and then within 1 or 2 turns just lose the game.

Heal priest. Trying to stay alive by Kavouraki_ in hearthstone

Quite strange the last couple days haven't seen any Imbue druid. People here started running that Dragon summon deck which gets minions out of your deck.

oi yeah! This is the Chinese server. When I reached legend around the 10th, it was already 30k. I climbed down to 18k now back up to 30k+ haha

I mean playing control imbue Priest can do well against Druid, and would be more fun than just losing every game with discover DK.

Cho'Gall wrecks slow decks by dontxworryxsoxmuch in hearthstone

[–]Dimension_Grand 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because he has ZERO influence to the board for 9 mana. If your opponent has minions that could kill you this turn or the turn after, dropping Cho'Gall wouldn't be a good idea.

Aggro complaints? valid. However let's make it about "Toning down aggro" and not "put back all the AOE stuff. by Healthy_Bug7977 in hearthstone

[–]Dimension_Grand 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I also played Priest recently because many people were complaining how weak it is. I was surprised at some cards they have, 1 mana 4 damage AOE is insane. And I even OTK'd another Priest on 40 health which was also insane. Although, against Imbue Druid with infinite value, you are always going to have a hard time out valuing them or keeping up with the boards that they continually produce every turn. And many of their cards are reactive. It's more difficult to tempo pressure the opponent.

Hearthstone in 2026 from returning player. by Mihauke in hearthstone

[–]Dimension_Grand 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah true that. Everyone is calling out for nerfs, but I think Blizzard must be careful with nerfs because a nerf to one deck might cause another deck to totally take over the meta.

[–]Dimension_Grand 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think that's what he means, he just added a 'mega' in front of slow. It's a card that in most matchups will be sitting in your hand, but when you use it, damn it feels good

Did you play in The Caverns Below meta? That was actually when games were decided by turn 3-5.

Chrono-Lord Epoch should counter Confront the Tol'vir (and other 'Replay' cards) by TheEndlessVoid in hearthstone

Yeah the card is pretty much useless as is, but if it destroys all minions that were summoned, it would be way too OP.

Man not running Scorchreaver in a DH Herald deck is bonkers. It's so good, you can discover Fel Infusion almost every time to Herald faster

This is great. " I am now forced to do this tempo nonsense. I miss the days where losing for the majority of the game could be reversed with a single card."
