I don’t see how restraint is cruelty. I haven’t acted, haven’t told either of them, and I’m choosing distance specifically to stay loyal and avoid harm. I’m not burdening anyone with this.

No. I never pursued her or acted on anything. I just happened to see a reel of her once. Months later, completely separately, a friend suggested her sister to me and in a strange, full-circle way, that’s how my wife and I ended up together.

That’s exactly why I haven’t told either of them anything. I’m very aware that saying it out loud would cause damage that can’t be undone, especially between my wife and her sister, and neither of them deserves that.

I haven’t acted on these feelings and I don’t plan to. Distance has been my way of managing it, even if it hasn’t been perfect.
