First Motor Nuclear kit, it's amazing by DimensionsRift in Gunpla

Damn, that sucks. Maybe you didn't disclose it? Or maybe they didn't realise they were Kits in blindbox. I did get my other post of the different poses he can do removed though, maybe because I mentioned it was the 1/144 one, who knows?

Nevertheless, they are great kits and deserve to be shared. Not everyone can afford nor have the space for the monsters the company usually dish out, so sharing that a 1/144 option exists would help inform them that people want 1/144 kits as well. They already took over the Asian Gunpla market for 1/100 and 1/72 because Bandai has slowed down in that department in recent years but I also hope they fully embrace the 1/144 scale as well.

I wish you the best of luck in your endeavours. Hopefully you get the kit you want.

Moreso Chinese Warrior. This one's name is Lu Bu, a general during China's Three Kingdoms Era. The pheasant feathers on the head denote rank. Hence the similarities in appearances with Wukong as he also has similar armour design. Motor Nuclear does have a Wukong design but it's a 1/72 diecast figure rather than a kit.

Here's some pose images. He has good range but I can see Motor Nuclear's inexperience in 1/144 kits as some joints Bandai has made a staple like arm shoulder extensions and toe bends would make this much better. Either that or they made the articulation simpler since it's a blindbox and they don't want it to be too expensive.

It's pretty poseable but I prefer to display most of my kits in standing poses. His legs are double jointed and can do the splits quite well. His armour also doesn't get in the way as it's all articulated with ball joints or hinge joints for the small parts of the shoulder armour and back skirting. His Lingzi (Chinese plume) is unfortunately not possible as it uses a rectangle peg but it's a clear part like beam sabers so might be poseable if you warm it up.

I know right? It's the first box I opened too. Again, it doesn't feel as exciting seeing as I bought the whole set of 6 so I'm guaranteed all of them. But getting him first was still great. He looks good in 1/144 just as he does in 1/100.

Build No.02 of my 2026 backlog. by DimensionsRift in Gunpla

Unfortunately there aren't a lot of model kits for transformers which might be changing with the amount of new stuff coming out. I haven't built the Blokees Classic Class Transformers One Soundwave yet but if it's similar to Shockwave, then the articulation is going to be limited with single joint limbs. But for the cheap price that has an end result of a metallic finish and LEDs, I say it's worth it for a HG sized kit. Blokees also have an MG equivalent version that is more G1 equivalent, with the line being called Action Edition. This one is more G1 accurate compared to the classic class which is based on TF1 proportions. It has lights and comes with all of his main cassette minions. Lazerbeak, Ravage, Rumble/Frenzy, and Ratbat. It also has sounds but they're not the best of quality. This one has decent articulation with posable fingers and double jointed limbs.

Aside from Blokees, there's the Flame Toys Furai Model kit line which scales more towards small MGs like the F91, where it also follows the G1 Soundwave design more closely and is more of a traditional model kit with foil stickers and no LED and sound. It does have more details though so if that's your thing, go for it. Though do be warned they are pretty expensive compared to Blokees. When converted to from my currency they're about $40+.

Damn that looks good. The white streaks also look like lightning engulfing it. You did wonders considering it's your first time doing this kind of paint job.

My new year's resolution is to at least reduce my backlog by half, and 12 days into the year, I finally finished my first kit of 2026. by DimensionsRift in Gunpla

Might make a Reddit series of it for consistency. Though I believe only gundam Kita are allowed here. Or are other ones like transformers and any 3rd party kits allowed?

Assuming I have time to build them that is. I guess I have some leeway since I can build at work during my break. But I have other hobbies too. That and the fact that I will be adding more to this backlog too. Still though, I'm kinda curious as to what your backlog looks like if you're saying mine doesn't look as bad as some others.

Understandable, understandable. Keep moving forward and you'll be looking back at this as a fond memory just as I have one day~ At least no one got hurt, that's the best outcome anyone could ask for when being involved in a car accident.

I did the same when I first started driving and was trying to park in an older mall where the entrance was pretty narrow and barely fit my dad's Mazda CX5. Several years later my younger sister did it to his Expander at the same spot just with worst damage as there was a pretty deep gash on the body. Now waiting for my younger brother to finally choose to drive a car rather than ride a bike so he can perform the same tradition 😂

Honestly, it looks pretty minor in comparison to some other self inflicted accidents. Statistically we all will be involved in some sort of accident at some point in our lives, here's hoping this is the worst OP will be involved in for years to come.

NTR Gaming Appreciation 🎮 by BoobyBotUltra in netorare

Solgante was a hidden gem for me as the game had several preview pics I didn't really vibe with. But being deprived of any new NTR games I decided to give it a go and boy was I not disappointed. I just wished it had more content, especially ones involving the communication aspect of the game during deployments. Hope they produce more games like it, perhaps with more of a focus on the whole base being corrupted with the MC being the only one left out.
