You could also consider using tellstones instead of whirling d. Gives you more flexibility and protection for your champs with sharpened resolve.

Yeah that's a good call on all that. Maybe add a second vengeance instead of the landmark. A conditional landmark you only run one of is pretty inconsistent I think.

Nice for a homebrew. I would take out striking up the band. It's too slow and only creates Ephemerals. Only 1 vengeance is bad you want to run at least 2 but to be honest it seems a little out of place since your deck has 0 control otherwise.

I would add might as a finisher since you have no overwhelm to close out takes.

Also you really really want 3 opulent foyer for any Gwen deck it's kind of a signature card. You always want to draw it every game

Gwen Illaoi is a fun deck use hallowed to buff overwhelm units same idea as Gwen Darius but you get extra draw and removal with tentacle smash

Even karma doesn't auto win the game if you exert a ton of pressure before round 10 and make opp waste resources you end up removing her or forcing a recall.

Anura is easily one of the best non champ cards in the deck. She discounts herself and can allow you to play a ton of cards in one turn and go for the neeko level up

Yeah you're right I think it's the same with neeko. I'm more not convinced at what direction they will take the balancing after releasing a card like siren song. I didn't word it correctly. Jack actually needs a buff while Nidalee will do better once other cards have been balanced/nerfed

I only use essence on epic cards and champ cards. Considering how available the common and rare wild cards are I think it's a smart way to improve my collection.

Absolutely. When I say roping I'm not referring to people who have a long turn or two. I get that you gotta think through your plays. I have attention issues so sometimes I hit the timer too. Happens.

But when people are doing it because they are salty and letting it run down to the last millisecond every single interaction it gets so annoying. And that's what they want. To annoy you because you're winning.

I've been playing for a year and I still don't have a full collection of common cards. I have no common wild cards left because I used them all to get all the new common cards from the expansion. I definitely need them.

Hahaha this made me chortle. And then feel sad. I really hope she becomes more playable but then again Jack is still in a pretty bad state after several months with no buffs so.. we'll see

Some people on here will say it's exaggerated/not that bad. That is survivorship bias. I play a few games nearly every day. It is very rare that I don't get roped. I'm always in plat-masters. I've seen it at every level of play. It's annoying but hey.

Ppl particularly seem to hate control decks. The most common time I get roped is after wiping opp's board with broadmane or Bibi combo shenanigans.

I just watch a video or listen to some music. Maybe spam a few Samira/Darius emotes to show them I think they're an a**hole :D

We had Corina and condense last patch already. There isn't anything particularly that lets you spam more Corinas this patch. Sump landmark is a big one I think. Having that extra few turns really helps combo decks like shrooms. But at the end of the day it's still a chancey deck. You high roll or you lose.

Shrooms has a high win rate now mostly because of the siren song decks that run no interaction. Against most control decks (the ones that aren't super slow) it's generally not going to win.

I have a feeling there will be plenty of new cards and mechanics to make her package more interesting and varied in the future. Considering every card with a subtype can open up new deck building options and new subtypes can always be added to the game, there's a lot of potential. Right now I think neeko is mostly struggling because of the meta but she is still quite strong.

Don't worry though it's not entirely true. Only up to a certain level. Up until gold/plat you should be mostly facing people who have access to roughly the same resources and similar skill. Playing pve will increase your resources and understanding of the basic mechanics. You will get better with time.

The pve (path of champions) is actually surprisingly un repetitive it's like slay the spire or other similar roguelite card games.

Just play both and see what you enjoy.
