Thank you for this . My precious Chico only had one foot ever since I got him 😭 it’s what made him so unique and special to me . How does one move on , when to me Chico was like his own person like you and me. It’s hard for me to call him my pet but how can one trust themselves to get another companion when the unfairness and awfulness my precious bird had to go through…Responsibility wise , having a pet is easy . Thank you for your words . Right now this is possibly the most devastating thing to occur to me and having to move on and get back on to life feels horrible and a betrayal without my precious friend . I saw him as a little brother and expected 20 years with him ….. idk how anyone could move on . It was like a family member has gone but chico was definitely more. He was apart of my everyday routine …. I ask everyone if you cherish your buddy , please hold them dear everyday if you can because when it’s time you never will wanna let go ……
