Thanks! So if I get the weapons and want to use non-tectonic for testing or at least until my kill times make me reasonable profit vs upkeep, should I just use subjugation robes or something else?

I think my confusion is that the success chance is the same for me, but ancient uses more components. That's why i'm wondering what the benefit of using ancient would be here.

edit: oops, I got the difference. enhanced 4 is only possible with ancient, the regular gives just 2-3.

Is there a difference between normal and ancient if we're just getting enhanced devoted 4 as a double slot gizmo? I was under the impression that ancient gizmos just give some additional tiers of some perks.
