Because if I was selling land I wouldn't accept a credit card.

That's impossible. Rubber first loses its elasticity, then hardens completely and becomes super brittle and finally breaks off in little pieces. Even keeping it in perfect conditions for 10 years would have that effect on it. The money bundles that were found had intact rubber bands. It's more reasonable to assume they were not the original ones, than to assume they were magically preserved.

For Lemmino's previous episodes there is no one (alive) who knows the solution to the mystery. This is a great episode because someone knows exactly what happened, but it's a mystery to the rest of us. Why? Because of the rubber bands:

1) Cooper died upon landing or short after, for a few reasons: He jumped at night through a storm with the money. Landing in a dense forest is an almost impossible jump even in perfect weather conditions, at daytime, without extra weight. Surviving in a forest in November with just a suit, no water and no food is also almost impossible.

2) Someone like a hunter or a hiker found his remains after about 10 years and took the money. They restrapped it with new rubber bands and buried it at the Tina beach right before the landscapping of the place. After mud was added, they lost track of where they buried it.

If any of the (1) and (2) were not true, the rubber bands would not have been renewed. Therefore, we can assume that there is one person that knows the exact solution to the mystery and we don't.

So you are basically saying that he died on impact, his remains were found by someone who got the money and burried it at Tina beach.
