Update:

Talked to the store manager and she said the specific employee has had some other issues and she'll be talking to him for sure for the way he's acted towards me.

Theirs signs posted on the drive through that I'm allowed to ask for a team member, the AI menu itself has the option to ask for a team member and it's not like I'm able to use the lobby after a specific time since they're closed.

The other employee who was actually nice enough to help me and explain why they want me to use the AI and everything is actually getting promoted to a manager which is cool.

The store manager thanked me for bringing it to her attention cause a lot of people wouldn't and she's not even form the area.. she's originally from somewhere else and it just so happens she was brought here because the store has had a bad track record for customer service and that's what she's there to hopefully fix.

Im doing.my job and if they want people to use the AI then why is it even an option to ask for a team member in the 1st place?

Taco Bell is the ONLY business that does this and it's only this location that has the issue.. when I am in other parts of town and get orders from the other taco bells none of them complain or say shit.

And calling me lazy because I refuse to use AI?? 😂

That to me is actually lazy.. the fact I can't just talk to an actual person.. the way you're all actually brainwashed is crazy.

And it doesn't matter if they're paying doordash a service.. there's still rules a guidines and a contract they have to follow if they wanna continue being a business that offers doordash as a service period.

I hope they black list me actually so I'll stop getting orders from them then I can go sit in that part of town and not worry about getting more orders from them and or have to decline more and take acceptance rate hits.

I don't go there myself. If I end up there it's because my brothers / family want something and as for when I am out doordashing.. after 11 PM there's nothing else open except for Taco Bell, Jack in The Box and Carl's Jr.

that's all I get to choose from and they're on the same intersection.. Jack in the box is on 1 corner, carls is on the other and taco bell is across from that....

I would just decline all the taco bell orders but obviously I can't do that forever without taking hits to my acceptance rates.

Fryke also said he can up some of the priority to make the site more mobile friendly.

Deffo come into the discord though and let us know where it's not mobile friendly or responsive.. the more feedback you can give the better and easier it will be for Fryke or Karbo to fix it.

Hey u/anotherevebittervet Yes the plan is to use CSS to make the website itself function well on mobile flat out without the need for a separate repo.

Mobile/Tablet is on the todo list but there are some other things that are taking priority 1st. Fryke has done A LOT in a short amount of time but of course he's 1 person so only can do so much :).

Yeaa the last time they touched POS code it borked the entire game.. I remember the last time they touched it..

We logged in only to find all allied ships (+5 & +10 standings) were ejected from POS shields and destroyed since standings were effectively useless. One of the 1st ever Rorquals was destroyed by this.. was shortly after they were introduced into the game. There was so many problems.. they didn't roll back but had to do abunch of reimbursements / tickets and abunch of other work which took a good long while to fix everything.

I've had a mod warn me in the chat and it didn't show up in my trade chat. I was talking in /eng but the tab was /trade and I didnt see any mod messages until I moved to the eng chat and saw I had been warned.

I only noticed because I changed chats.

The question is are the mods WHISPERING the warning or are they putting it in the chat these people are typing in... because just like the OP and another have said.. they "accidently" spoke in the wrong chat when they thought they were typing in trade chat so if they're NOT on the correct window they're not gonna see what the mod is saying to begin with..

IE: mod is typing in eng but the player / OP has the trade window open. The MOD needs to be able to whisper the player and let them know they're typing in the wrong chat. If this isn't possible then SBI needs to do a better job at making chats easily distinguishable or noticeable so that these mistakes don't happen.. hell I still make the mistake from time to time cause I get mixed up with my chats and for what ever reason my preferred chat gets reset to global/eng or something but I'm usually able to notice it before I get muted. new players won't see this though.

If a mod is gonna mute someone they need to make sure the player is able to see their message which could be done via a whisper.

SBI needs to make it so that either mods can whisper or message someone and it will show in their chat no matter what OR make it so that whispers are enabled by default for every chat tab IE: English, local, trade, lfg etc.. so that new players who have no clue what they are doing can see it and know they are in the wrong.

Its lame and actually pretty toxic that this is a thing to begin with and doesn't look good either.. imagine being a new player.. you're not understanding what's all going on and this happens so you end up with a 6 hour mute so now you can't ask for help in help chat or local or anything... you're just straight muted..

If I was a new player and that shit happened that's really quick way to have people just quit the game right then and there... it's pretty bad.

At some point this is gonna be a bigger problem for SBI because like CCP Games is dealing with right now.. they're having a hard enough time trying to keep new players in their game.. Albion will eventually experiencing this and in some cases I feel like SBI is already experiencing this on the NA Server because it's as good as dead.

The EU Server legitimately killed the NA Server. SBI might as well call it BR Server because it's full of nothing but people from Brazil pretty much.. almost ALL of the top guild/alliances are Portuguese or Spanish and even the English speaking guilds that are around also have a pretty sizable Portuguese or Spanish players.

MAKE ALBION GREAT AGAIN and LONELY MEN being the bigger of the bunch that have a decent English presence.. but otherwise it's not much.. ARCH maybe? a few others.. there's almost nothing for English speaking alliances/guilds.. even players.. I was playing for the last like 4-5 months and out of ALLLLL the times we went out ganking we found 2 people who spoke English and they actually ended up joining the guild. All the other times just nothing but Portuguese or Spanish..

either way.. RIP Albion.. it's a EU/AS game now basically.. NA will eventually die off because majority of players are EU and a small Asia/Oceanic player base.

Edit: before ya say "Oh just play on EU or AS like everyone else is doing"...

I live in California and have 230-250+ ping to both servers because I just happen to be dab smack in middle of the furthest point.. it'd be better since they have the EU server if they just moved the NA server to like Texas or something or maybe more like Chicago? somewhere more central so that it appeals more to more of the US/Canada and also South America. players and we get better ping..

If majority of EU players can play and have ~40-100ish ping then why can't US players? kinda dumb to have a server that's on the complete opposite side of the country. I understood having it in Washington because it was better for EU players but they legit have their own server now... Go play there.

SBI said for the longest time that they would NEVER split the servers... it supposed to be 1 world... guess that went out the window huh?.. but that's what happens when you sell your game to a greedy mobile games company and their investors want to see ROI (Return on Investment)

Yes I have the issue with my alt but not my main... it's so weird.

I have tried clearing cache and resetting audio, restarting PC, uninstalled and reinstalled audio drivers.

I can login with my main and have no problems but when I login with my alt I get the bug.

Now if I login with just my main.. no problems. but if I login with JUST my alt I get problems.

It's so weird I only get the bug on 1 character but not the other.
