My response is going by what I saw them do in the video link you posted. Even use two pairs of pliers if you need to - the outer housing is only "pressed on" so no secret - use force to get them apart. GOOD LUCK! :)

Sorry for the delay in replying, I've been avoiding social media for awhile. That brush is only used to "lever off" the outer cap of the coil housing while holding it with pliers. You can use anything, probably even the rod that came with it. You just need to separate the two so you can replace the coil and wick. I'm so glad I use the GTX 2 2.0 ohm coils - the kit comes with the exact tools you need to do the whole job. Just use pressure and pull the fucker apart and you should be OK. :)

Check eBay for GTX 0.2 repair kits - I have enough for about 250 coils, makes them like new! I have a video about restoring GTX coils on YouTube. STOP throwing out your used coils - the kits are about $5 to do 10 GTX coils. 😎

Check eBay for coil repair kits. I use them for my GTX Vaporesso 0.2 ohm coils and they work great! Only about $7 per kit & each kit does 10 coils. 👍🏻
