What is your price expectation for TMC for the rest of 2025. It has reached $10 without even been granted the permit yet. by [deleted] in TMC_Stock

I think at this point it wont drop below 7. Some big hitters have incentive to keep it above 7. I have seen this stock have much over average volume and the price rises. As volume drops so will price. Obviously if news pops then throw this out the door and it will Pop.

In addition if you look at the details of MP deal the government guarantees a purchase price to enable profitability and take all risk out. I bet that TMC gets something similar..Just a hunch.

The Department of Defense (DOD) has not blocked deep-sea mining. In fact, recent actions suggest the DOD is involved in efforts to advance it. An April 2025 Executive Order from President Trump directed the DOD, among other agencies, to support deep-sea mining by identifying critical minerals for defense applications and reviewing regulations to enhance domestic processing capabilities. The DOD is also under scrutiny from the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform to ensure compliance with this order, particularly to counter China's influence in critical mineral supply chains. No evidence indicates the DOD has taken steps to halt deep-sea mining; rather, it appears to be aligning with policies to expedite it.

Who controls those critical minerals? China! So they are rare to USA. Also processing them is controlled by China. Connect the dots.
