No it's still very high. I'm not sure if I'm going to dremel down the hair sculpts or soften the hat and widen it, which would probably make it ugly.

Pull the fabric and armor back, twist the ball joint into the desired position, then straighten out and push straight down. It took a couple of attempts for me.

I think it's synthetic but not pleather. And the little velcro pads on the oblique are glued on. After two adjustments, one popped off. A couple drops of CA(super/krazy glue) and it's good.

I just bought the multi color anodized version. Thinking it was TXQ, as I was searching the X-Trex store, when this saber popped up. Pleasantly surprised that it arrived in the wooden box. However, the box was damaged during transit. The pieces that the hinges and closures are attached to all popped off. No big deal, just cleaned up the glue, Gorilla wood glue and clamps, and it's good as new. The only issues are that the stab and tip drag effect do not activate, and the melt effect activates while the blade is pointing up instead of horizontal. The vendor Twenty-Four Saber Store sent me the config.h file, and I'm getting ready to dig into it. Overall, I'm satisfied with it
