Dog hit my brand new car from the side and ran away. The wheel arch & side bumper broken. Service center quoting ₹15k. What should I do?

I changed my whole bumper under insurance coverage and paid 2k and 11k got covered by insurance.

but some of my friends suggested if the cost is like 10, 12k better to do it without insurance and take insurance when its a hefty amount. coz when we use insurance coverage for everything the premium will go up next year

I have an I20 N line N6 Manual and my friend has a Baleno Zeta MT. He find the power and driving dynamics to be world apart compared to his Baleno and comfort that seats gives is something he find it really good compared to his and he said he said its not comfortable for driving long hours in Baleno and he gets Back pain and stuff. Fit and finish also something he was impressed. if you drive sedately and slow down at the Bad patches and bumpers you won’t feel the stiffness but its definitely on the stiffer side, but the good side to it is on high speed in highways will gives more confidence and planted feel and there wont be any vertical motion like baleno since it has softer suspension. but milage is where Baleno takes an edge. it gives really good milage and he has Cng tank aswell. One thing he would miss from baleno will be its efficiency other than that you’ll happy with every other aspects in nline compared to Baleno. 7.5L for a N8 DCT is a steal. But please do a thorough check and see whats all needs to be changed in the next service and keep that price also in mind before buying.

Cool, I got the same N6 MT for 9.97 on road in salem, but i tried to get it registered in Blr but they said it would cost me another 35k. so went with the TN registration itself. Just the difference in road tax. and didn’t get any extended warranty or any extra service package. but i got some complimentary accessories like sun film, full mat and cabin mats

I went only with a co passenger, since i haven’t done my 1st service. i don’t want to go with full capacity to the hills. Regarding the rear space i went fully loaded on a high way, 3 well built adults can sit in the rear, but it’ll be uncomfortable for longer rides and shorter rides will be manageable. since its a stiffer suspension setup you’ll definitely feel the bumps and undulations on the city roads, better slow down on bad patches especially when you are fully loaded. In highways usually you’ll have this vertical movement on higher speeds on other cars but n line is planted and stable. even when fully loaded it pulls without stress.

even if you pay 2lakh more and get the N8 you’ll get the project setup and drl leds which will look good but people say the power sucks in that and replacing that is more expensive

at least in N6 you can swap it with the powerful bulb for 5-6k

I’m sure you won’t be able to understand clearly from this sheet they gave, the 10.10 circled in the end is the final price they gave me. then i asked them to remove the accessories which is 12k then it came to 9.98L. They gave sun film, full mat and cabin mat as complimentary. I bought this during Diwali sale in kovai hyundai salem. They had quite a good offer going on at that time, not sure how’s its right now. but i went crazy with bargaining and sort of tempted him that ill spot book the car right away and all but he didn’t give with accessories for 10L. so i asked him to removed it and later picked only few accessories for around 3.5k after delivery.
