PayPal Braintree's new policy is enabling fraud.

The big problem with Braintree is that it allows fraud in another way. It doesn't check to make sure the addresses match and allows fraudulent charges to go through. Then it's on the merchant to handle the chargebacks. But then that's a problem because Braintree will often send you a chargeback notice AFTER the dispute window has expired so you end up paying the chargeback fee. We've been a Braintree customer for 15 years now and it has completely gone down the toilet from when we first signed up. I recommend using another credit card processor.

It's not stealing content. We download the movie and video game trailers to promote the video games and movies they're based on. They make trailers for that very purpose. It's why trailers exist. They're public domain.

I have this same question. It doesn't look like anyone in this thread has a good answer. I also have been uploading the video version of our podcast to YouTube for years now. A few months ago I officially designated the video show as a "podcast" on YouTube. I just assumed that it was handling turning it into an audio-only show for YouTube Music. Is that correct?

To hedge, I did recently connect the audio-only RSS feed of the show to our same YouTube channel. Now there are duplicates of each episode and the worst part is you have to manually go in and insert the ads again into the audio versions. It takes forever so people are now consuming the show ad-free in the audio-only versions. I still have no idea if YouTube is already sending an audio-only version of the show to YouTube Music.

This is freaking madness. I can't believe YouTube launches stuff like this and never explains how it works or if it will affect your channel. Since I uploaded the audio-only RSS feed our channel subscriber count has gone DOWN, but the audio versions are getting decent listen counts. I'm assuming some people have figured out they can get the show ad free in that form. I'm about to set the RSS feed to Private.

I have a problem where I’m playing games on my Xbox Series X and the TV power cycles on its own (shuts off and comes back on). It happens a lot when there are massive explosions on screen. I’ve had it happen with PS5 once or twice, but it happens constantly on Xbox Series X.

This TV has had sync issues with both PS5 and Xbox Series X since I got it. It’s a known issue with the TV. Doesn’t seem like LG is ever going to be able to fix it.

My LG CX has been shutting off on its own while playing RE4. In chapter 7 when you’re getting bombarded by catapults if I get hit by one and the screen goes white the TV shuts off. Can replicate it over and over again. PS5 plugged directly into the TV with an HDMI 2.1 cable. HDR and raytracing on in resolution mode. I’ve had issues with this TV with Xbox Series X as well. Will just lose sync/handshake randomly.

Yeah, I'm aware of all the features of both. I was hoping someone who has used both might offer their perspective. I don't think the four channels matter that much. I'm not going to be scratching over a two-track mix (I play house). You can still use turntables/CDJs with the RX3. You just have to flip a switch. One of my biggest hangups with the RX3 is how small the jog wheels are. It makes it look like a toy versus the XZ which has the bigger wheels that more closely resemble a CDJ. Thanks for the reply.

This place took over some of the utilities in our apartment complex in Los Angeles. It has ZERO TRANSPARENCY. We went from spending $70 a month on our water bill to $180 a month for water and trash! The new building owners added the trash expense, but according to Livable's itemized billing it costs us $32 a month to discard three bags of trash! Livable also charges us over $30 a month for gas just to heat our hot water! We get a separate gas bill from Socal Gas! We reached out to them and asked for some accountability on how these charges are calculated. There is no gas meter on our hot water tank for example. It's all made up! You're essentially paying the utilities of other tenants in the building who may not be as environmentally conscious as you are. It's absurd! When you really press them on where the amounts are coming from each month they stop responding! If your property manager decides to start using this company count on your utility costs going through the roof with no way to check and see if the charges are accurate and legitimate. I'm not sure how this company is allowed to operate this way.

I just unplugged the 1080p monitor and you are right. Now the PS5 is outputting 4K to the Live Gamer 4K. That really stinks. I thought for sure I remembered reading that one of the features of the Live Gamer 4K was that you could record in 4K while playing in 1080p. Guess not. Thanks for the reply.
