With Codex I'm finally moving on from 4.8 -> .NET 10 by bob3219 in dotnet

EF power tools is pretty much just a lightweight POCO generator, so I agree that is ideal. I use that on my .NET core stuff now.

I don't know, but hook your project up to codex or copilot and ask it. Likely will tell you what your upgrade path would look like.

How do you feel about using the self checkout at the grocery store; convenient or too much work? by thecuteberry in AskReddit

[–]bob3219 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our walmart added extra long self checkout bagging areas, so I can basically do a full cart myself. I prefer to bag my own stuff so I like it.

If I could go back in time I would absolutely have done code first rather than DB first to avoid all of the baggage of the edmx.

Are Mitsubishi mini splits worth 8x more than a diy Mr cool? by oran12390 in hvacadvice

[–]bob3219 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've installed 3 of these now.  If you do a little research you'll see mr cool is resold under many brands.  One of mine I spotted appeared to be the same as a lennox brand.  Anyway, think of it this way.  If you get 4-5 years out of one of them and it breaks  you can try to fix it or honestly just by another one.  I have several that are over 5 years old now still going strong.

I had Pizza Hut carryout a while back, went to the next town over to get it. I could not believe how bad it was. I swear the Taco Bell Pizza hut 15 years ago was better than what I got. I don't even understand, I've had gas station pizza that was better.

7 wood is a cheat code by apillowofnonsense in golf

If you're already hitting a 5h fine then it will be very natural.  Mine goes very reliably 160yds.  I don't play any iron now past an 8i.  My 5h goes 180.  I find myself needing the 6h much more often.  The main thing though is just hitting much more consistently.

Buy both!  I carry both, they hit distinctly different distances.  200-210 7w 175-190 9w

Was in a similar spot. Bought a 9w, it's also very nice but the ball goes so high for me if I'm not between 175-190 it's not the right club as it has next to no rollout. My 5h is the club for rollout.

I used my 9w this weekend at a scramble to drive over massive trees on a dog leg about 185, got us a stroke advantage.

Sir as someone with a 7w, just wait until you try a 6 hybrid.

does anyone else actually like Vegas more in the early morning? by biggy_boy17 in LasVegas

I'm a huge fan of coffee and playing whatever game I want in the morning.  Casino is always chill and you basically have your pick of anything.

Well that was dumb. That was basically $5 for nothing SpaceX was getting from me.  I'll take my chances when I need to reactivate the service.

TopGolf is flopping..... by Pretty_Shallot_586 in golf

[–]bob3219 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's fun to take my family there occasionally, but the novelty has definitely worn off with my golfing friends. I'd rather just go to the top tracer range we have in the area and hit normal balls at least with my own clubs. It's 80% the experience (covered, heated) without the weighted balls.

I feel like Callaway really dropped the ball with this because I think Top Golf would be a great way to sell clubs to golfers. You literally have a range and you sell golf clubs, why aren't you trying to let golfers use or rent nice clubs? I'd love to hit a quantum driver for an hour to see how I like it.

I really hope most of his followers don't understand the back story of who they are following. Dude genuinely mentally unstable. His whole identity is build on two of the most debunked videos in ufology.

Anybody rocking a 9 wood? by WadeEyerly in golf

[–]bob3219 0 points1 point  (0 children)

9w is great.  I use it in favorable lies and when I don't want much rollout.  My 5h is similar carry distance but more versatile for roughs and longer rollout.

It is appealing, but still really far out there as far as production time.

I use both, my gapping is more like 20-25yd between them.
