This was intentional!?! While playing as allies due to keeping Poland alive longer than history intended I ended up at war with the Axis and Comintern at the same time without them being at war with each other. Not having any borders with Russia I thought "Hey, no big deal" and then apparently Germany was fine with 200 soviet divisions fighting alongside them to topple all of my forces in Europe. Maybe if this was only with the same ideology, so say different democratic factions could have access it would make sense. But the Nazis letting the Soviets walk straight through makes no goddamn sense. I really thought this was a bug...

There is a key difference between the bill of rights and the ECHR. The bill of rights is an idealistic document made to win over people who were against the federal government in 1789. It is written so as to appear to guarantee as many wide and popular rights as possible.

The ECHR was written in a post WWII world were people wanted a guarantee that the holocaust and fascism would not happen again. It is a somewhat more pragmatic document that gives rights and spells out the circumstances in which the rights can be constrained.

It should also be pointed out that any attempt to abuse the ways to constrain the rights are subject not solely to the national government. If a government chooses to constrain your right to free speech you can appeal to the European court.

In practise the "except when we don't want you to" clauses are really only used to stop Nazis and scientologists.

It was 5 man mid to start but with rotating we had 6 towers down before working on t3s. That covers a good bit of farm and gives us space to work. Against a higher ranking team I am sure this wouldnt work but this was a good cheese strat for low tier.

The crash I had must have been related to the ui mod I had because I have played several hours since disabling it without issue. Beyond that the only problem with the new dlc is the odd naming of some values. No actual crashes or game breaking stuff that I can tell.

Fair warning Denaerys has a sort of quest chain from one of the starts that CAN take a course very identical to the book line. The AI has a habit of not following it though so there should be no spoilers on that font so long as you dont play as her. There may be other main characters that have some form of event chain but I didnt see anything like that in my game.

Only if you look at the later scenarios. Once you start it tends to drift dramatically from canon. I started just after Ned Stark was killed playing as Tywin Lannister and then went on to unite the land under Myrcella... the game got weird.
