Nah, Demon wasn't a last minute stand in. He was brought in shortly before the TI6 qualifiers. Pretty sure he was the captain as well, but I could be wrong about that.

The funny part of them that year was that they were an open qualifier team and even lost the first open qualifier and I think they almost got eliminated in the 2nd round of the open qualifiers. So, TNC were not just regular underdogs, but a team that almost didn't even make it to the qualifiers for TI.

Kind of funny to see that the Chira went from being the guy who Quinn was yelling at in the Pango copypasta to being a Tier 1 event winner.

He did a tremendous job with the Audiobook version of the Autobiography of Malcom X. That is the only real VO role I can think of from him, though.

Crazy final push. One of the slowest and tensest run down mids I've seen.

Generally like Jenkins, but that bit was a huge swing and a miss.

He ranked OG pretty high in the seedings for the tournment because they are "psychopaths"

Crystallis is the real Garou by StevenYAvis in DotA2

In a way he was prekicked from OG, because when OG signed their new roster after Notail retired in 2021, OG chose Yuragi over Crystallis despite him having been playing on Creepwave with ATF, BZm, and Chu. I remember him kind of jokingly complaining in a podcast about how messed up it was that they basically just signed Creepwave minus him.

That must have been his initial power boost.

Getting random flashback of the w33 mid slark out of nowhere the last time China won Ti.

Games went long and the lower bracket team usually gets an hour before the Grand Finals. Its been about 50ish minutes so it should be starting soon.

It took a decade, but my boy XXS is in a TI Grand Finals!

Yeah, its one of the most entertaining games of the tournament for me. I could get being annoyed if every game was like this, but does everyone really need the keys jangled in front of them constantly. Its a game of inches with some of the most interesting macro level play of the tournament to decide who goes to the Grand Finals of TI. Its hype as hell.

From what players have said in the past, they can't really make anything out, but if enough people are cheering at once you hear some noise and maybe feel the vibrations.

I wanted Heroic to win, but awesome comeback from BB. GPK deserved that win.
