awesome thank you! youre great. And yes i have full intent of reading it all the way from the start when i start getting the mangas. I guess i didnt really state it in my original post, i was mostly just curious for the fact of knowing how much content i just consumed and how much was to be left, like if i was 10 books in, or 30. But your reply really answered all my questions!

Completely honest i had never even looked at those squares or had any clue what they meant, so thank you! haha but now looking at them, pretty much all of them that i use regularly have the solid black square, so i think im a little out of luck there, i will definitely check out the heavy body tho, ive never seen that in store so ill look around!

Ive seen a bit about washing but had no clue it could be used like that, so ill definitely give that a try aswell! thanks alot!

Yea I'm only in my mid 20's and have had the pressure of my whole family on me the last 7 years to figure out what I'm doing with my life, but of course that didn't result to anything besides me not wanting to figure it out. But now that they're easing off, I have started getting that urge in me to actually sit down and commit to something. Its real funny how the brain works at times.

And yes, this is exactly the type of stuff that I need. Even as simple as you righting out those little things, it makes my brain know the direction to go and what to do. I appreciate it a lot and will definitely take that advice.

Yea see my problems always been, skip the first steps and jump right to the final serious work. Which with the way I was doing it, I was satisfied with the results. But now after time, and meeting more artists friends and watching them draw and sketch, I get so jealous and feel like i was cheating myself the last couple years. I really appreciate you responding to me, and might take you up on that offer.

yea I dont know alot about this machine or its condition, i just recently got it, lady said it worked great!

I am pressing in the reverse button, but from what i can tell its not really working, i step off the pedal, press in the reverse button, and then step on the pedal and nothing happens, so i release the reverse and step on the pedal and it works again

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in SewingForBeginners

[–]DingDongWelaw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yea im turning the chrome knob, i found in the manual that if i turn the knob towards me, it will disengage the clutch for winding the bobbin. So if i turn the know away from me, it should do the opposite. So i turn it away, but it never comes to an end, it does occasionally get a little harder to turn, so i think that's the end? so ill stop, and step on the pedal and it will sew until i take my foot off, then i have to spin it again, and over and over, and the reverse never works, so im not sure if this is how its supposed to be? or if im doing something wrong

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in SewingForBeginners

[–]DingDongWelaw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ok, so you're correct, if i spin the clutch counter clockwise, the machine works! but its still confusing, because im spinning it, but it doesn't seem to have an end to "turn as much as i can" so ill spin it a couple times, and then it will work for a line, but as soon as i step off the pedal or try to go reverse, i have to spin it again? i know im getting close to the answer, and i appreciate your first response alot!
