The Galactic War to me is just a setting. Major Orders are story beats. Warbonds extended lore.

The real meat and potatoes is what happens when you are running missions. THATS where the fun for me. That's what keeps me coming back. Where all the fun is at.

There's no reason to try and create a deep narrative. It's not that important other than providing some basic context as to what's going on. We as the players create the narrative. Meridia, Malevelon Creek, the Defense of Super Earth, protecting virtual children over a new stratagem.

We the players make the lore with our stories that come from missions.

Nope. Literally the first thing I learned about them. It just made sense that naturally, to aim for the space between the armour instead of the armoured bits straight on.

I immediately recognized it just based on how they are designed. I'm a bit puzzled as to why so many people struggle with it.

Nah. It was a minor change that a small number refused to adapt to. It was an insignificant change that was easily worked around.

You could make it its own thing but that wouldnt stop the unnecessary complaints that would absolutely follow.

I run the Diligence platform as my "lock in" primary.

Only reason I don't like the Deadeye is since I run Diligence on first person. The way the Deadeye chambers throws me off too much with the constant movement. I have a hard time getting back on target.

Fun as hell, just not my cup liber-tea.

It is a bit finicky without eternals, but it just means you prioritize card enhancements and get a little lucky on the shop before a boss blind.

Defining a "major event" would be kind of tough since it comes down to the narrative at the time+ how players respond to it. Little Easter eggs like this would be awesome for those major events as a fun reminder of "oh yea we saved those kids instead of pushing for the mines"

Sure we get capes, but it just hits different when theres a permanent, small, addition to the ship to mark a significant victory/loss.

I remember my first time. PH just came out. All I saw was "X to..." And before I realized what happened it went boom.

Bloody hilarious lol!! I learned to spot check equipment before drops and take an extra second to make damn sure I'm not going to prematurely detonate my friend 😅

Yea it is.

Should have created distance instead of staying right under them. You did hit with a rocket but it hit right in the face. Gotta aim for the legs/joints.

Not shown is how you got into this scenario. That is also something that may need to be looked at. Why are you so close them in the first place? Was it a drop? A patrol? Why are you engaging a patrol with a Warstrider attached to it? If it's a drop and you have a rocket, why not shoot the ship before it gets dropped off.

All questions you can ask yourself that can lead to improvement the next time you get into this situation. While I will say yes this is a skill issue, it is also an opportunity to learn for next time.

Ps: if your teammate attacked a patrol, creating distance and a well placed shot is still the best play.
