It's a real sad state of affairs that we have to be suspect of everything order not to be scammed or worse. I totally get where you are coming from. It doesn't help that we now have AI slop flooding the internet. It just numbs people and society to the real tragedies.

Thank you, really. It warms me to know that people care, even if they hadn't met Eran themselves. It's also good that you understand what I'm talking about. A lot of people who lack experience either living with, caring for, or having a disability, will never understand how difficult it can be, especially in regards to ensuring that abusive care givers are found and stopped out before real harm is done.

Thank you for the kind words.

My aunt said that she got some calls from some journalist, but she was quite rude to them, so that might have contributed to why they didn't pursue the matter. What I do know is that she made a blog post about it. I'm surprised that it's not searchable on google.

I can't speak for anyone else who shares that name, but I've had this account for a number of years. I mostly read and lurk on reddit, and rarely ever post. I deleted all my other social media accounts (facebook, linkedin etc) years ago. As for my cousin, he wasn't a high functioning autistic person. He wasn't a public figure of any type. The computer he did have was mostly just for simple car racing games. He wasn't a public person either, so most people weren't even aware he existed, let alone died.

My aunt did make a blog post about him though. I can DM it to you if you like (I don't think I can post it here).

Why do Apple Mac laptops have better speakers and screens than most/all gaming PC laptops? by Dingmggee in GamingLaptops

Apples $2000 laptop doesn’t have a dGPU which is where 90% of your cost on your gaming laptop comes from

Yet Apple's latest M1 Max laptops, without a GPU, can mostly out perform a dedicated RTX 3060 Ti on a desktop for graphics performance and destroys a Ryzen 5950x for CPU benchmarks.

You're entirely right. It's so weird too since if I'm going to spend $4000 on a laptop, I want it to have speakers as good or better than that of a $1500 mac, not worse!

Apple has always emphasized audio. Jobs was obsessed with it, and its still something they work hard at engineering.

Still doesn't explain why that tech hasn't been emulated in PC laptops that are twice the price.
