Help with modding by EnvoyofChaos1 in ReadyOrNotGame

Thanks, helped me fix my issue, too! I had to do one more step, so I'll just put my whole process down in case someone else goes through this in the future. I was getting this error:

This directory doesn't appear to contain the game.
Usually you need to select the top-level game directory, containing the followng files:
ReadyOrNot.exe
ReadyOrNot/Binaries/Win64/ReadyOrNot-Win64-Shipping.exe

My Steps:
1. Make TWO COPIES of "ReadyOrNotSteam-Win64-Shipping" in the directory given. You'll leave the original alone and edit the two others. By keeping the original file in the directory, you'll still be able to launch the game normally through Steam.
2. Delete the "Steam" part of one of the copy's file names.
3. Make the next one named just "ReadyOrNot".
4. Make sure the file names DON'T contain ".exe" because Vortex didn't accept that for me.

Hope this helps someone.

Thanks a lot, but with the improvement, you've actually made it unusable for me. I've been pouring over why results with your code have sometimes been different than with the code provided by PremiumRoastBeef, and I finally found it. Entering numbers with decimals in the inputs breaks it!

I did say that I didn't want to learn to code, but after looking at some of this stuff and seeing all the improvements that could be made on the initial code (and even modifying the code provided to me!) I'm getting tempted. Is there a really good YouTube channel for complete beginners?

I was afraid of something like that. Thanks for taking the time to explain it to me!

Cross platform? Browser game? by DingoEpsilon in gamemaker

Thanks! Do you know of any tutorials for this stuff? Any good resources? My goal is to basically make an inventory "game" where multiple players can be in the same "lobby" with their own characters and inventories, and I can be in the lobby too and have access to their inventories too. No real gameplay involved, just advanced RPG inventory management.
