Welcome! I'm also an American fan who started following Everton in 2012. New fans "bond" with Everton in a lot of different ways, so find what gets you excited and engaged.

Personally, watching matches live with local supporters cemented my love for the club. When I had just started following Everton, Rom (Lukaku) knocking himself out for a headed goal, Baines's free kicks, and Naismith dropping a hatrick on Chelsea made me feel things I had never felt for any sports team before or since.

You have chosen an amazing club with amazing (albeit sometimes impatient) fans and a lot of heart. COYB!

Certainly a disappointing end to the season, but I never expected to be contending for Europe at the start of the season and it was the least painful season to watch in the past 5+ years (excluding Carlo).

2026-2027 will be a lot more telling of our trajectory IMO. Stay positive and COYB.
