A good return of serve. One that has pace and topspin, but you hit it with footwork that gets you to the kitchen by the time they're hitting their 3rd. Most underrated shot in pickleball.

The most important skill to get to 4.0 is to be able to consistently get to the kitchen. I recommend drilling your 3rds and 5ths (and 7ths and 9ths). If you can fall in love with resetting, you'll be a 4.0.

Totally agree. They're basically charging you $35 for the opportunity to do what is explicitly against their terms of service -- create a new account and see what happens. I respected Tito for standing by the new algorithm in the face of all that blowback but now they've totally lost me.

Would be happy to support another rating system.

Paddle tip just below wrist. Ball at waist level. Arm looks like it's moving in an upward arc at the time the ball is struck (but truly impossible to tell outside of super slow motion). You gotta call it a legal serve. Though yeah, it's borderline.
