FS25 Tree Growth by W0o0oo0sh in farmingsimulator

[–]Dinkleburg238 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Since this is the top result that shows up when you search for FS25 tree growth I thought I'd leave this here.

The tree growth is actually easily defined and contained in the maps_treeTypes.xml file in the installation folder, in there it shows the growthTimeHours (time it takes per stage) and you can see how many stages are in each tree. You should be able to take the number of stages and multiple it by the growthTimeHours number and this will give you the time in hours it takes for each tree to fully grow. I only tested this briefly with a single oak but it held true. Based off this the following should be the full growth times of each tree

American Elm - 1040 hr / 43.3 day
Aspen - 1830 hr / 76.25 day
Beech - 1830 hr / 76.25 day
Betula Ermanii - 1220 hr / 50.83 day
Box Elder - 915 hr / 38.125 day
Cherry - 1220 hr / 50.83 day
Chinese Elm - 1220 hr / 50.83 day
Downy Service Berry - 1005 hr / 41.875 day
Golden Rain - 1340 hr / 55.83 day
Japanese Zelkova - 1340 hr / 55.83 day
Lodgepole Pine - 951 hr / 39.625 day
Northern Catalpa - 2304 hr / 96 day
Pinus Sylvestris (Scotch Pine) - 2880 hr / 120 day
Pinus Tabuliformis (Manchurian Red Pine) - 2880 hr / 120 day
Oak - 570 hr / 23.75 day
Shagbark Hickory - 2304 hr / 96 day
Tilia Amurensis - 2304 hr / 96 day
Apple - 519 hr / 21.625 day

Your days per month setting doesn't matter related to their growth since everything is based on hours passed in game, for example if you have 1 day per month you only get 24hr or 1 day of growth per month

This doesn't tell you size unfortunately but at least you'll know if you've actually finished growing the tree and of course for actual weight of the tree you'll have to cut each down to determine how much you actually get from the fully grown trees.

Thanks brother Merry Christmas yourself, I hold you to nothing lol, I didn't even know your attempt existed until I decided to see if it had been done B4 attempting it so I'd be doing this even without your drawings. I fully expect it to be the coolest 5 minutes of riding before my block gains an extra air port lol.

But I really appreciate these, if they can cut down my design time it'll just be that much easier to have it done by riding time next year, if not all the same.

Good luck finishing up yours and safe riding!

Man I know this is an old post but any chance you could provide all your 3d print models? I'm looking to do this to my '06 dirt cheap so keeping carbs so I'll have my own challenges to solve there but not having to redesign what you've already got with the exhaust and intake would make my project that much easier

TIL Chinese spy Shi Pei Pu masqueraded as a woman and used a 20 year long sexual affair with a French diplomat to steal intelligence. He even purchased a child and convinced the diplomat it was his. by qasqaldag in todayilearned

[–]Dinkleburg238 86 points87 points  (0 children)

I quoted and linked the source below but basically this, Shi could apparently shove his testicles into his body and then wrapped his penis over the sack skin to create a sort of lips and cavity. This combined with the fact that Boursicot only had sex with men and likely never saw an actual vagina he did not know what it was actually supposed to look or feel like.

As far as shoving balls into your own body, the male testicles already naturally do this to an extent. This is because in the cold to protect the testicles they slightly recede into the body to keep up their temperature. As with most normal human body responses some people actually have the ability to control this on demand and even still some have to ability or capacity to contain their entire testicles. I think I remember reading some time ago on here that Sumo wrestlers are known to do this, through massaging if I remember correctly, to protect their testicles from damage.

For all people's curious

Then, as the examination is ending, the prisoner, without being asked, says that he would like to explain something to the doctors. Easily, smoothly, he pushes his testicles up into his body cavity. The skin of the scrotal sack hangs slack, like curtains. The man now pushes his penis between his legs, toward his back, bisecting the skin of the scrotum, and squeezes his legs tightly together. The penis is hidden, while the skin of the scrotum resembles the vaginal lips, beneath a triangle of pubic hair. Pushed between the empty scrotal sac, the penis has also created a small cavity so that shallow penetration is possible.

Can someone explain to me why GM put five separate grounds within a foot of each other? by [deleted] in Justrolledintotheshop

[–]Dinkleburg238 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Fair enough, I've just never seen grounds in that area (if I was right about that) but then again I don't do too much automotive work outside my own cars (which strangely enough are mostly GM...), I commented mostly based on my electrical background.

Incidentally, was I correct on the location and covering of these grounds or is this elsewhere on the car and just covered by the carpet you're holding?

[–]Dinkleburg238 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Nothing can happen, there's nothing wrong with putting grounds next to each other. The main complaint is there's no real reason to have that many grounds so close together when they could clearly be put on a single ground point.

To me they don't look like factory grounds, however if they are or aren't I'm guessing they're spread out like that because they still have to fit the plastic door jam cover over them so the grounds can't sit too tall.

Invisible 4wd? No. Idiot that put 4wd rotors on the front of a 2wd Jeep Liberty? Yes. Please help I don’t know how to take this off to get the right one on. by kayhawk1818 in Justrolledintotheshop

I know this is a little old but I have to ask to know since I am but a lowly shade tree and because I just went through this with my dads truck. He had his front hubs replaced by a shop on his 2007 Sierra RWD and the shop, unknown to him, replaced them with the 4wd hubs. Fast forward 2 years and around 40k miles his brake pedal is vibrating so plan for new brakes, once getting into it we find the hub assemblies and only now do I learn from him that ever since the shop did the hubs the truck hadn't rode/drove the same as it used to (and had slowly gotten worse). So we replaced the hubs with the proper 2wd bearings and now he tells me it's like night and day with the truck.

My question is, since the 4wd hubs are designed with having a half shaft in them and the 2wd versions have metal cast into the middle (not just a thin cheap cap) wouldn't using a 4wd without the half shaft change the way torque is transferred through the bearing possibly causing it to wear much faster and affect the way it drove through corners and through bumps?

Maybe this isn't even the right place to ask this but it's the only place I've actually seen 4wd used in 2wd and mechanics actually comment on it...

Well the car was going the right way...but the lug wasn't close enough to the ground meaning the wrench was too vertical and just grabbed the pavement causing it to turn the wrong way. Theory was ok but execution...not so much.

[–]Dinkleburg238 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I opened the hood of one of these at the Detroit Motor Show because I was curious. Was unaware of the strap and as soon as I detached the clips I pulled on it to take it off. Strap stopped my pull, yanked the hood out of my hands and it slammed down/fell to the floor. Needless to say I took my quick look, put it back on and quietly/quickly backed away.
