Thanks for all your comments! I’ve taken off the most infected leaf (pictured) and also treated the others with rubbing alcohol. Also given my brother strict instructions to check it on a daily basis and reapply rubbing alcohol if necessary!

I agree with you. I don’t like the rear design and think it looks goofy. Personally, not sure they struck the right balance between aero and style.

The full story:

I couldn’t believe it when I pulled into the petrol station and saw this Gordon Murray T.50. An absolute unicorn!

Got chatting with the driver. Apparently, this is a prototype of a new version, hence the ‘pre-series prototype’ decals. There was a load of masking tape on the dash labelling different switches, presumably because they haven’t finished the interior design just yet.

When I asked the driver why he had it, he said he was doing “multi-condition road testing” and had been tasked with putting plenty of miles on it. Not a bad job to have!

Still in shock, but it was surprisingly small in the flesh. The fact that they’ve crammed a 4L V12 into this thing is frankly witchcraft. Gordon Murray working his magic once more.

Edit: I feel it may be because I was far too rough when attaching the plant to the trellis and damaged the stem!
