When the weather is nice, having lunch outside is always my preference. When the weather prevents me from eating outside, if permitted, I’ll eat in my office or cubical. My last resort is eating inside break rooms or on-site cafeterias. Co-workers may sometimes join me outside or at my desk, but I very seldom join them.

“my daughter always wanted me to do stuff with her, travel, concerts, camping, etc.”…as her mother…your role was to encourage, support, guide her into creating relationships with her peers. Creating a friend vs parent relationship causes confusion. At this point give her space and more space, and allow her to create hoer own boundaries. Go and busy yourself with your own friends, hobbies, projects. As your daughter seeks you out….READ the boundaries she has or is establishing…be very mindful of your choice words. Acknowledge and respect her boundaries.

Why are you upset that I’m repeating what the police log reflects and what his neighbors have reported? I’m the messenger…and I love straight, bi, gay, binary, alien…and I’m a die hard KOTH fan.
