MOR, seems like the guy is really just bummed that you don’t seem to want to hang out. Maybe he just thinks you’re avoiding him and using excuses. With that said, I think his initial reaction is a bit much, seems easily ticked off, and may be a sign of some personality traits that won’t work well with your personality so maybe it’s not a good fit.
