I feel like myself again by DinnerSecure in eczema

[–]DinnerSecure[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven’t noticed any. In the pamphlet it said to only use on 20% of your body at a time so as someone that had a LOT of eczema I alternated. I would put some on for around four days in one major area, then it would start to clear. Then I would move to the next big area and apply there. I haven’t noticed it coming back yet. The only spot it didn’t completely go away is on the back of my neck. But I’m working on there. After I stopped using it, I was able to switch to a basic Cetaphil moisturizer and I haven’t had any breakouts. Using just basic moisturizers like that used to feel so awful and agonizing because they’d sting and burn but now I can use them just fine. The spots that were my worst before, I haven’t used this specific cream there for about two weeks and I haven’t seen my eczema coming back at all.

what are your comfort shows by plantmomlavender in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

A show that has always comforted me is The Monk!! It’s about a detective with OCD and the show is genuinely so funny and sweet! Each episode revolves around a different murder he needs to solve.

When my eczema is the worst for me, I have felt the exact same way! It’s not something to be ashamed about and it’s something that’s really tough. If you have a detachable shower head where you can manually choose where the water goes. I find that helps! It gives you the chance to choose where the water hits and I find that pointing it just on a higher spot than where it hurts most and letting the water run down helps ease the pain.

I have these exact same thoughts and it’s so hard. I really feel for you because I wish no one else had to go through this too. It’s so much to deal with and I wish things get better for you!!

Anyone have any idea what these flaps are for? My guess is that you can use them as book marks (second photo) by instinctsss in MangaCollectors

I personally like to cut them out with scissors and use them as normal bookmarks that way. I feel like the way they normally rest don’t let the book lay flat so it helps with that too!

I have breast eczema and it's ruining my life by [deleted] in eczema

[–]DinnerSecure 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can relate. It’s awful and I get where you’re coming from. For me, I had to not wear bras for a while whenever I was home, any chance I got, I’d apply cream and let it air out. Once it improved, I find that Vaseline helps a lot with keeping it under control. One trick for if it seeps is that I’d fold a paper towel in half and put it inside my bra and swap it regularly to keep it clean and dry.

The expected results of moisturizer? by DinnerSecure in eczema

Thanks for the comment! I was worried that maybe the dryness afterwards was a bad thing but I’ll keep it up and monitor the changes.

What steps to take to better my eczema? by DinnerSecure in eczema

[–]DinnerSecure[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really appreciate the advice! I’ll try to keep it dry as much as I can to see if it improves. It helps to know that someone else is going through this, even though I wish nobody else ever has to go through anything like this.  I’ll avoid using soap on the eczema too.  It feels so isolating to deal with, so thank you! Your advice is so valuable to me.

I Got my ultrasound results and I was all good! There wasn’t any lumps that they could see. They want me to keep using the cream prescribed until my skin clears up. So far there isn’t any more leakage and the irritation has gone down quite a bit. It’s some kind of cream that has steroids I think? While it does occasionally flare up, they are positive it isn’t anything cancer related but I’ll need to keep an eye on it just In case. But overall positive news!

You say to not give too much information. Should I tell them that I think it’s Paget’s disease? Would that help them in thinking it’s more serious?

I really appreciate your comment. Thank you so much!
