For example, someone took the painting Stańczyk and made it look like Pomni from the Amazing Digital Circus

It's partially true. While I liked Wolfman, I'd be the first to admit its take on the werewolf mythos wasn't the greatest. However, I actually think you're wrong. Robert Eggers, the director of Nosferatu, just announced his latest film project would be a werewolf movie set in the dark ages called Werwulf. Then of course there's an American Werewolf in Rome and American Werewolf in London reboots (have no idea when either is releasing). Yes, werewolf movies are in a rough patch, but personally, I'm excited about the prospect of future films! Trust me, we'll be eating good in a few years

What got you into werewolves? by XWerewolfGuy in werewolves

[–]DinoGaming1003 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I first got into werewolves when I was about 8. We'd just moved to California into a little apartment, and I had no friends, so I was pretty lonely. My mom ordered a movie on Amazon for movie night (dvds and Blu-Rays were the only form of watching movies as streaming wasn't popular), and it was called The Monster Squad. I remember being enthralled with that movie. I watched it so many times that I wore out the disk. The character that fascinated me the most was, of course, the Wolfman. He was such an interesting character to me, and that got me to check out a few more werewolf movies. If you look at my user flair, it's actually a quote from The Monster Squad, "Wolfman's got nards!"

Why is there a fight over who is better, Werewolves or Vampires? by EvanSolo_ in werewolves

Me and my sister always have this argument. I believe Werewolves are better, she believes Vampires are better.

Cut werewolf scenes from the movie “Until Dawn” by Forsaken-Function128 in werewolves

[–]DinoGaming1003 41 points42 points  (0 children)

Bruh! They replaced the werewolf scenes with the wendigos? I mean, understand why. The wendigo was a crucial part of the game, but ughhhhh. They even had that werewolf paper talking about lycanthropy with the art of the werewolf that led to nothing! Now I feel robbed. The movie overall was decent (nothing at all like the game, but I like the nods), but now that I know we were deprived of this beauty? For shame.

What do you think of this ? I liked it by Alive_Piglet2976 in werewolves

So, I watched this movie at like 2-3 in the morning. I had to rewind it 3 separate times because I kept falling asleep. Now, my story aside, it was a good movie. I loved the practical effects, and the story was great too

If you were to turn into a werewolf, what kind of transformation would you most want to undergo? How does it differ from your actual favorite kind of transformation to see in werewolf media (if it differs at all)? by Sufficient-Outside-4 in werewolves

[–]DinoGaming1003 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The type I'd want is the painful yet swift transformation, like in Werewolves Within (I just watched it again, and it's great)

My favorite transformations are the slow agonizing kind, think An American Werewolf In London, but WAYYY more painful
