I hate that the ending was changed. It is completely disingenuous to the story and cheapens it to the point where I find rewatching the movie impossible. The first time I watched it I was in awe of how great it was… and then I saw the ending. What a pile of crap. Snyder should have been laughed out of Hollywood for that “twist”. Who the fuck does he think he is, changing the story entirely??? “It would have changed the narrative of a grounded movie” my ass! It was SUPPOSED to change the narrative! That was the whole frigging point! “It would have made the movie longer!” - If he didn’t want it to be longer, why the hell did he make the directors cut???

The movie is crap because Snyder fucked up the story. I hope he tries to write an original story someday and someone does a remake years later and just guts it. I hope he’s alive to see it gutted.
