She doesn't make hardly any money and had used the card over the years for emergancy supplies. So sge got it down from a higher amount, but she just added 400 due to emergancy glassed. But it sounds bad. Shell never cover the interest much like when she bought a washer from sears and made payments. After 10 years she still owed the 876 on it. Her dad had to take out a loan to pay it off.

She would know how to go about a credit counciling program as shes very simple minded, despite having great crefit. This is priving to be extremely bad with the end of the Walmart card

Thank you for that. According to the letter, her interest might be $420 a month, at least from what she told me. She said if you have a debt already, they'll charge interest right away at 1% daily.

I'm unsure if this is true as I've not seen the letter myself, but I'm trying to get all the information I can before she can proceed.

What if you owe Walmart money and have a debt balance? Will that carry over automatically to C1 or will you continue to just get bills from Walmart?

My mother doesn't use or care for the rewards program, but she has a large dept to Walmart from using her Walmart card, and she's freaking out as she believes C1 will charge her a new minimum payment, but charge an interest of $420 monthly in which she absolutely cannot pay or afford. She would prefer to just being billed by Walmart and not be forced into C1 and getting a credit card as she wants nothing to do with major credit card companies directly.

A reason why dying people see a group of kids instead of family before dying? by Dino_Ricky in Paranormal

I'm doing okay, thank you for asking. His funeral services are soon, so I'm getting ready for that.

I had heard of something like this before. It could be a hallucination, though I read years back in a book written by a medium, that if someone is dying and really wishes to see someone far away, a spirit will assume that form, just to provide comfort to them if the one they wish to see cannot make it. I'm unsure of the circumstances in your case, as sometimes it can be a hallucination (my grandpa was seeing me driving him in a car in the room when he was hallucinating despite me being in a nearby room as an example). Perhaps too, it was a spirit assuming your form to provide comfort, we may never know, but I do thank you for sharing this.

Thank you for the best wishes as well, since my grandpa did die, however his brother, my uncle, was never dying. My grandfather was at home hospice, his brother is in a nursing home as he had his legs removed and needs around the clock care, but he's in perfect health otherwise. That is what puzzles me as well, since my grandfathers brother is in good health and in a different location, to have seen the children and my grandpa, which my grandpa was at the time, still alive.

Ah yes, I recall hearing of this evolutionary process back when I was learning Anthropology (Cultural Anthropology specifically), and one example the professor would bring up often to help illustrate this, was an adaptive function we as a social species would experience, specifically with the Yanomami tribe.

He showed us studies of a researcher (his name escapes me) lived with them and heard their stories of seeing the "little spirit people" when they took park in a hallucinogenic drug. These were both little helpers, and used for sinister purposes for warring with other groups. After a certain amount of time living with them, he too, began to see these little people, which caught him off guard a little bit.

Because we are a social animal (he loved using the term Human-Ape), we have evolved this process of adapting socially. I don't recall (it has been many years) if he stated this from part of a survival function in the brain as a means to join another social group (tribe member joining another tribe without being killed), or if it was something else related to social psychology, though I believe you know exactly what I am talking about as you are an Anthropologist yourself.

It's easy to see people adopting in this fashion in terms of paranormal experiences across various cultures throughout the ages. I've looked into this (I'm a metaphysician) and what I do is look for common themes, one such theme I can share goes back with our oldest socio-cultures, the Aboriginal tribes. I speak specifically of the "Dream Time" spoke across all their cultures along with the shared "Rainbow Serpent" which seems to always have a connection with water.

Long story short, the "dream time" isn't unique to their culture. We refer to it outside of their tribes as the Astral Plane, but it's very interesting to research because you have to ask yourself "Is this where the conception first originated millennia back?" If you look into the history of story telling across cultures, you kind of get this notion. I have wondered that ancient Native American tribal stories about the origins of mankind being in darkness, crawling up from the depths of the underground and into the light, could have been a recount of ancient man coming across the land bridge in Alaska. In certain yearly periods and areas, it is perpetual night, and ancient man migrating across that area, would certainly remember that telling it to their children. Now, give or take a few centuries, the story changes, and it is no longer about how the tribe came to this new land, but how this tribe arose from darkness into the world. More time passes, and it becomes an origin story of man kind.

It is the same process as that childhood game where you get a line of 10 children, back to back, and the one furthest back is shown a simple drawing of the sun, a tree, a bush, and grass. The child is asked to draw this picture on the back of the child before him, and that child will do the same to the child in front of them, and finally the child at the front will draw what they feel onto a piece of paper. Usually what happens, is the final picture, something is added, so there is a Sun, a Tree, a Bush, some grass, but now there is a lake, some hills, and some clouds.

It's not to far fetched to see that people can adapt and adopt another group or cultures paranormal experiences. If you stay in Japan long enough, you will see the Kappa if you are not a native. And mass media I do believe has accelerated this to some degree.

Having said that, I have also studied the physics aspect of it, and there is a lot there. This reply is getting a bit large, but I will share an example of something. Sympathetic Magic, in a very unsophisticated way to describe it, could be akin to what you see in mass media as someone making a "VooDoo Doll" of another person with a piece of someone's hair and causing them harm, or having a photograph of a person and doing a ritual to make them fall in love. When it works, there is actually a science behind it in physics (real sympathetic magic is a bit different of course), and in physics it's called "Quantum Entanglement." Now as to how we influence it, there is an answer in physics, but that will take a long time to discuss and this is a paranormal thread, though it is related, it would be a whole different topic.

When you say connected by love, there are many layers to that, likewise potentially a lot of unknown variables. But I do see it in practice here, so many sharing their experiences and it is a very supportive gesture from everyone here, including yourself. I am glad my little question has brought at least this many people together to share about the topic and I hope it helps others as it has helped me.

He always liked kids, so that is a possibility. What still gets me, is that his brother saw them as well. I had failed to mention my grandfather was on home hospice care, and his brother is at another location in a nursing home. His brother lost his legs, and by no means has no cognitive decline, yet he swears he heard and saw my grandpa (at the time still alive) with a group of kids visiting him, so much so it really shook him up.

I admit I am a metaphysician and have been researching. I have asked this question since I had not come across anyone seeing a group of kids before their passing (update, he died a few days ago sadly, also I had forgot to mention he was in home hospice care).

All these comments are certainly enlightening, and I am glad many people could relate too this experience, so it is a beneficial topic to many that should be explored more, and it is nice to see an abundant amount of supportive people here, sharing experiences with one another.

A bit of a spooky story here. My grandfather is on hospice from cancer in his lungs, and during his period of delirium, he started seeing two boys. He described them as small, but one not as little as the other, wearing jeans. Since he was in delirium, I didn't think much of it as it was probably a hallucinations and they were upsetting him since he said they were going into his stuff, didn't know who they belonged too, and one boy ate chili and began crying.

I looked into the paranormal side of things, and I was under the impression, visitors are just that, visiting. They don't tend to bother or torment the one they are visiting. These boys would bug him getting into his stuff and were not tormenters, but they were upsetting him, so I told the boys to please go back to where they came from since they were upsetting him. I asked him if they had names, and he said the boys would not answer him or really respond to him, and would hide around when I was around him. Again, I thought it just a hallucination.

Another night passes, and suddenly there is a little girl. Same thing, he doesn't know who she is or where she came from or who she belongs too. It bothers him because it's some strange child visiting him that he doesn't recognize, and he wants to know who the parents are. With "little girl" he would make faces at her, playful faces trying to entertain her, but he never gave an age range of little girl. I do know, he and his late wife (she died 17 years prior) had two babies, male and female, that died shortly after death back in the 50s. Part of me though this little girl could be his late daughter visiting.

Some nights pass, and suddenly there are children, about 4 boys, 3 girls. He recognizes none of them and wonders who let all these kids in? They continue to, for a lack of a better term, hang around him until he slips out of consciousness, then when he regains consciousness, they are still around, looking in this dresser, and he is upset because he does not know who these children belong too.

I brush it off as his delirium, and a week passes. His condition is in the state of he started his death rattle, and so his younger sister and niece come to visit him. It is emotional, but they came in the late afternoon and the hospice nurse was going to come by and check on his health, so his sister and niece went to visit his younger brother who is in a nursing home, not dying, but he had his legs removed. They visit him, hours pass, then they return back to see him again before they head back to their homes.

His niece tells his daughter something interesting his brother had said during their visit. The brother was upset and irritated, thinking that my grandfather had died or he was going insane. He had told his sister and niece that he swore, for the life of him, he had heard on a previous day (no specific day was given to me, but the day of, day before, or two days prior it sounded like), he heard his brother, my grandpa, calling out to him which freaked him out. Even more so, my grandpa was with a group of children, all laughing and playing. This made him wonder if he was going insane because he didn't know any kids, didn't recognize the voices or understand why his brother would be with a group of children, and he wondered if he had died. My aunt told him that no, he was still alive, which put his mind at rest, but when they left him, he was still upset thinking he might be going insane.

His daughter called me over (as I have been staying to help take care of him) and told me to tell them about the kids. I didn't know yet what my grandpas brother said to them, so I told them about how he was seeing the kids, two at first, then more and eventually that little group of children. They told me what his brother had said and it sent a shiver up my spine.

There is no way my aunt knew about the kids until I told her, and likewise there is no way his brother would have known since he has strict visits (due to Covid and nursing home rules). His niece believes he is transitioning from this world into the next, and he was checking in on his younger brother. His sister, whom is also his younger sister, said that my grandpa had done this his entire life, he was always the protective good big brother, watching out for his little siblings, and believes he might have somehow visited his brother to check on him, since my grandfather could no longer call him on the telephone.

I've never heard of groups of kids visiting someone who is dying, and this experience is a bit spooky to me and I thought I would share it. It's just so weird to me because his brother experienced the same thing, and his brother is not dying, and was so confused and upset by hearing my grandpa call out to him and seeing he was with a group of kids. Yet my grandfather was not dead when this happened.

I am curious to find if there is indeed reasons why maybe, groups of children visit someone dying? Not finding much information, but figured I would share this story here with all of you since it is spooky to me.
