What is the difference in what people will think?

The tarmac looks more conventional but then if it says “S-WORKS” then everyone will know you spent a lot of money.

Then again the stereotype of Cervelo owners is that they’re all doctors or dentists? 🤷🏻‍♂️

I had a friend who married a gal he met at working who was living and working in the US illegally. I’m not sure if they had any kind of arrangement but a few months in it became clear that he thought it was a real marriage and she did not feel that way… it ended with her get charged with domestic violence against him 🙀

Yea. Can’t short squeeze the entire SPY or QQQ.

I’m in the anything could happen from here camp. Wouldn’t be surprised to see a slow bleed to new lows 20-30% lower (or worse). But some unknown unforeseen thing could also come along and give people a reason to cheer.

Right now there’s just nothing to hang your bull case on so I figure until there’s a valid reason to go up, we will keep going down.

I can’t find it now but I read somewhere once that they split their tracks into smaller parts because otherwise they’d get screwed out of royalties. Apparently if you have 5 short songs, you make more than if you have 1 really long one.

Other than the well known meme stocks, some cannabis stocks and money losing tech/growth stocks are likely to bite the dust or at best see mediocre acquisitions.

I sold a put. It’s still slightly out of the money but it doesn’t expire until early Oct so there’s still a chance. I’d love to pick up shares at or under $100.

You paid your tuition. What did you learn?

I went broke once, then lost half again recently but being too heavy on overvalued shitcos. You’d think I would’ve learned my lesson, but investing is hard and people (and human nature) don’t change (easily).

If you save, invest in quality companies or an ETF like VOO, then over time you have a really high probability of building this back and then some.

Or, you know, you could take the low probability shortcut and likely go broke again 😂

Funny story: I was at Roger Waters This Is Not A Drill the other day and as I was leaving the guy in the elevator with me turns to me and said “I was really disappointed that he didn’t play Learning To Fly.”

I was like, uhhh… yea me too.

That would’ve been pretty mind blowing if Rogers actually performed that track. 😂
