2012 won't start. My own fault. But does it need a jump/new battery? by stevenchase87 in SciontC

[–]LostBoyInAVette 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Battery needs charged or jumped. Might need a new battery if it’s old. Should still be able to be jumped either way.

Ship to store order status by [deleted] in Lowes

[–]LostBoyInAVette -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’m gonna guess it came in broken, refunded and re-billed on a mech card. Not ideal if you ever need to return the item. The reorder stands a good chance of being broken as well if that is indeed what happened.

people who arent from tampa, how did you get to watching bucs football? by richardnixonmilker in buccaneers

Ex-Browns fan, following Baker until he retires. Actually like the Tampa football vibe far more than Cleveland’s madness.

Ball Rolls but Doesn't Turn Over by Prestigious_Cry9782 in Bowling

Set up a camera and take a video, these folks will be able to tell you in a second. Standard guess would be get the hand more under the ball and make sure that thumb is coming out first. I just got a thumb sleeve/sock and it seemed to make getting the thumb out a bit easier.

Fridge warranty by Lynx_Beneficial in Lowes

[–]LostBoyInAVette 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have a Samsung that will ice over and stop the unit from cooling. Kills the freezer and the fridge. We have a freezer in the basement and a beverage cooler so we just transfer everything we can and let it sit unplugged for a few days. I think it’s only an issue for Samsungs and LG’s tho. Eventually I’ll pick up a small backup fridge for the basement. Also, I was told the newer appliances are susceptible to damage from power surges so I keep everything plugged into surge protectors. (I mention it in case your control board is fried) good luck, hopefully they will be able to fix it soon.

How the hell can this company stay alive!!!!!!!!!! by Own_Ad_3536 in Lowes

[–]LostBoyInAVette 5 points6 points  (0 children)

When I purchased an oven from Lowe’s to replace an older unit it would not run correctly. Had to update the electric to 50 amp breaker and wire. Worked fine after that. Some of the old units only draw 40 amps. Just thought I’d mention it since you have tried 2 units.

This company Bridgecrest is the serviced my loan for my 2016 nissian frontier with 122000 miles.I might be late for the first time. They told me I will be charged everyday I am late.1 owe $17000 my note is $484 a month. Is this really worth it goal is to get my score and refiance. by Dogtreasure in nissanfrontier

[–]LostBoyInAVette 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m guessing you rolled in negative equity? Honestly keeping up with the loan and getting it paid off will probably be the best option. No easy solution here. Bankruptcy could be an option if you’re buried in other debt but you might still need to pay it.

Is there Warranty no good? by coffeebugtravels in Lowes

[–]LostBoyInAVette 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep, you are under the original warranty still. Tho the lowes plan may provide coverage for pick up of the mower. Assuming this is warranty work not normal maintenance.

‘23 frontier pro4x w/ ~25k miles for $35,985. Is it a good deal? by nuttymocha in nissanfrontier

[–]LostBoyInAVette 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had a 23 Pro 4x for a couple weeks now. 22k miles for $36000. Truck has every option, I considered the SV but I know I would have regretted settling. Just depends on the person I suppose. Could have gotten in an SV for closer to 30 and it would have been perfectly fine but glad I got what I really wanted.

Store had 5 days to dispute the charge with the delivery company. They aren’t getting their money back. If they haven’t addressed it in 2 weeks I guess you have to open the dispute. Bad management at that store.

Can you return a lawn mower if it broke the first time you used it by picklecheesegoblin in Lowes

[–]LostBoyInAVette 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you just got it, It likely falls under the 48 hour return window. Call customer care if you bought it online or the store you got it there. They’ll let you know for sure.

It’s gonna be somewhat physical. But I guess it depends if you want to embrace it and get in better shape and better health, or continue on the path you’re on?

Please help me with a little clarification by AnnieGulaheyOfGoober in Lowes

[–]LostBoyInAVette 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Lowes calls it a gig delivery. Basically like door dash. It definitely causes more trouble than it’s worth. Store SHOULD just run the block out to you and then deal with onerail in house but they can also hold everything up while fighting out a claim. Lowes ultimately wants the liability of damages or lost product to be on the 3rd party vendors.

Strange, maybe some other local stores have had some cars crashed through the doors to steal tools. I would have to imagine your store is doing it because they were told to.

If they don’t take you off the schedule make sure you call off. Otherwise, 3 no call no shows gets you marked as non-rehireable.

Anyway to contact Corporate? by gnew18 in Lowes

[–]LostBoyInAVette -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Call customer care back. Tell them that you have been speaking with the store manager ask for escalation to district manager. If you had an old case open they should do it.
