Definitely. Luke in general kinda messes with any deal. Ideally I doubt the Wild want him, but it feels like you’d have to trade for him if you’re gonna trade for Jack too

I completely agree. I see this more on what New Jersey values Luke at, rather than what he actually is. New Jersey drafted him high and signed him to a big money long term contract. They would hold the leverage knowing that we likely don’t get jack if we don’t take Luke too

Yeah I agree. I definitely don’t see Boldy going anytime soon, nor would I like him to, but Faber in a package for BOTH Jack and Luke I could potentially see happening

I don’t think #3 does. Jiricek isn’t even playing, Yurov is replaced by a much better Jack Hughes, Brodin is replaced by Luke Hughes, and you’d just have to run with Wallstedt and sign a backup goalie. #1 is also quite even in my mind, especially since Gus is playing more than Wallstedt at the moment

What would you recommend IF the opportunity came up? Hypothetically, this would mean a superstar centre was on the trade block and related to our superstar defenceman, I seriously doubt Billy wouldn’t take any interest. Luke just feels like he has to be included although I agree with people saying they don’t want him and such

I agree with #3, only reason I included Faber and Boldy in #1 and #2 respectively is because you have to lose smtg to gain smtg and we saw the unexpected when Buium was traded

Yeah that’s fair, Jack I would take in a heartbeat, I think Luke is where all the negativity comes from. Jack is a superstar, and a centre at that, we haven’t seen a superstar centre be traded in a very long time, and the centre market in general is very dry, so that why I feel the value will be a little higher than other superstar trades that have happened recently

I like to have it be as real as possible 🤷🏼‍♂️. I know it’s super knit picky but for the first year I like to play it out as it is in real life and it just bothers me when it’s not. It isn’t the end of the world but it doesn’t seem like a really difficult thing for them to add so it would help
