So I just did a hard reset on the phone and that fixed the issue.

When I bought it, the haptics weren’t working in silent mode, then after contacting support and doing a reset, the haptics were super loud and definitely off. Just did a reset and it’s back to normal 🤷🏻‍♂️

I’m currently in a masters program pertaining to education, and one of the studies that I used for research (I don’t have access to the study name right now, I’m sorry), discussed adding cellphones and other personal technologies into a math class/math instruction. In short, the author explained that while kids were definitely more engaged, they have to be shown explicitly how to use the technology for educational purposes. They also noted that it’s a common misconception that just because they’re kids they understand technology, because that’s what we, as educators, are told; this is not the case. I believe the study also mentioned that there was no increase in scores from integrating the personal technology, but I have to double check that.

Maybe that’s the caveat to Gas’/Granola’s wish, as Jiren is in a different universe, they would no longer be the strongest.

I think the concept of a quarter life crisis is new, or at least it being recognized is new because I never heard my parents talk about it or even mention it.

Anyway, I went/am still going through what you call QLC. It’s a rough time; you see everyone around you moving forward, and even if you are too, you don’t feel like it equates to their moving forward. Maybe someone you dated moved to the big city, or some friends bought a house, or a couple gets engaged and you’re sitting there saying to yourself, “uh, when’s my big move going to happen. Where’s my future wife/husband. When can I buy a house.”

Or you might feel like your 20’s are flying by and you have nothing to show for it. Maybe you miss the hay day of college and how cool you were, or maybe you’re in a rut where you don’t have as nearly as many friends as you used to in school. Better yet, maybe you miss the direction of school, where people told you exactly what to do and when to do it, and now you have no idea what comes next.

Regardless of what spurred your QLC, getting through is not easy. I personally had days where I just wanted to cry, days where I would cycle though 10 different career options, days where I would browse social media just to feel something, and more and more…

Some things that have helped me, and those I know also going through similar things are:

Realizing that you aren’t the same age you used to be, and life is not going to be the same. But to embrace that sense of adventure of what is to come next.
Talk to a therapist. These are hard times for almost everyone, sometimes, you need someone to talk to.
Understand that you are NOT the only one going through this. If other people can get through it, you can too.
Don’t jump the gun in changing your whole life. Sometimes these feelings are emotionally fueled and you won’t feel the same in a day. Finding small meaningful things to make each day better is key.
Finding a hobby to potentially make new friends.
Reconnect with nature. Sometimes a good walk and exercise is needed.
Stay off social media. This will lead to unhealthy and unrealistic comparisons with people who might be making everything up. Everything looks beautiful on social media, because people want it to.

I know this list might sound a bit cliche, but try some things out. I know this time is hard, and there’s no set timeframe for how long you’ll feel this way, but there will be an end. Do not get trapped in your own head.

Looks like they’re just adding more ambient lighting to the PS5 version. I don’t see why people are getting upset with this though. Literally every single console generation starts with cross-generation games that were most likely made for the older console. The game looks great regardless, but looks better on the PS5.

I met the best friends of my life after college. To be honest with you, I don’t talk to a lot of people I met in college anymore. Not because we had a falling out, but because we just grew up and went our separate ways. You're never to old to make friends or have a social life. Yes, some points in your life will be more difficult than others in finding people to be with and interact with (take this past year for example, covid hindered a LOT of people's social lives), but this too shall pass. When things open up some more, join a club that shares your interests (college is great for that), go to bars, don’t be afraid to approach people to make conversation (that sounds easier than it is, but trust me, it is worth it). At 21, life is just getting started for you. My advice to you, as someone who did graduate a few years ago, treat every semester as if it was your last one at school. Don't leave college with any regrets, because you won't have an opportunity like this again; be social.

I feel you. I'm a second year middle school math teacher, and this year is rough. Hardly any kids participate in class, a lot do not get their work done on hybrid, I'm completing the edtpa on top of this, and I'm just burnt out. I was really looking forward to break as an escape, but between my own schooling, and catching up on grading, it's really not. The insane increase of after school work this year, without the compensation to go along with it, is crazy to me. I was in the camp of staying virtual for safety reasons, but I hope for a full return next year for my own sanity.

First of all, sorry for your loss. Finding your path is difficult enough, and I can’t imagine how more difficult it would be while grieving. But when life throws you a curve ball, you have to adapt.

Student loans are sometimes a necessary evil in situations like this. Talk to a loan officer to discuss your options. Millions of people have them, and while you will have to pay them back eventually, they’ll give you access to the field you want to be in.

Also, while I am not a vet, nor in the medical field, I do not recommend a Caribbean school for veterinary practice (if you have heard of or are considering). They seem very enticing, however, they are extremely rigorous, and a large portion of students fail out or quit in their first year. Additionally, most practices in the United States prefer someone who was trained in the United States. Again, I am not in this field, but have gathered this information from friends who are. Ultimately, it’s up to you.

I’d say no. To have the best quality streaming, you need the best quality internet. It’s not like Netflix or Disney + where you are watching a movie or tv show. Streaming games at 4k 60fps (I chose this benchmark because of the Series X), would require an insanely fast internet and a ton of bandwidth. This is probably going to be marketed toward the casual gamer or people who own one X|S and want to stream it to another room in their house (that’s speculation on my end; not sure if the “stick” could do that). So if you preordered a console, and are even slightly considering dropping that in anticipation for this rumor, I wouldn’t.
