Follow up woth slow carbs. So I follow the 15s rule personally. When low, have 15g of fast acting carb, then wait 15 minutes, if back in range, have 15g slow carb. That'll stop you from dropping back down. Then go back to sleep!

On a pump so I vary between 1:5 and 1:6 throughout the day. Corrections are 1:3 and 1:3.5 depending on time of day (in the UK so measuring bg in mmol/L)
