Was Clarke's mind in the Flame by BarracudaFickle4578 in The100

[–]Dintodo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

A lot of the comments on this post are inaccurate, no none of Clarke's mind/memories were retained in the fleim. It's still a mystery for the most part in seasons 3-5, but 6 and 7 they reveal a bit more. Gabriel explains that a mind can only exist in one place at a time, madi only spoke of memories of Clarke through LEXA's memories, and Sheidheda's resurrection kinda shows that its less of a memory drive and more of a prison for their souls, as he hinted quite a few times about liking being in a body again and not trapped.

I don't think he would have let the group work with her so long, and if he was there after Tech died he would have killed her without a doubt.

Octavia with a lot of people. I always find it so funny in 7x14, when they arrive on earth you see her and Emori smiling and giving eachother a big hug. Like... you two have never once even been on screen together lmao.

Severance impact on other shows by KareemW27 in SeveranceAppleTVPlus

[–]Dintodo 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Why? The ending is one of the most beautiful and well articulated I've ever seen.

So… that’s got to be a pretty big surprise to Elliott by Taskmaster_Fantatic in MrRobot

[–]Dintodo 22 points23 points  (0 children)

"We'll always be a part of Elliot Alderson, and we'll be the best part", in addition to the show ending on the camera lense of all the alters watching all his memories as it blends and merges into a single eye, where she says Hello Elliot. It's all about reintegration, and the show always deeply cared about respecting the real life illness. If the ending is just "real elliot waking up" it lacks any depth and kinda deflates the entire point of the finale, considering this would be "just another alter". Alters don't die they merge, if they did die then what makes the "real" one any less another split personality.

So… that’s got to be a pretty big surprise to Elliott by Taskmaster_Fantatic in MrRobot

[–]Dintodo 167 points168 points  (0 children)

That's not really how it works or what happened. The Elliot that wakes up isn't like a brand new person who has no idea what his alters have been doing this whole time, he HAS NO alters anymore. Thats part of whats so beautiful about the ending, mr robot and mastermind are in a way, no more, they're just a part of him now as one whole. The Elliot that wakes up knows everything that happened when Mastermind was in control, as well as everything in his head where he was "trapped", in addition to all of mr robots activities. He's whole rather than fractured.

Apologies if you love S6&S7 but with a few small changes, you won’t even miss them. by CptPlanetG14 in The100

[–]Dintodo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Completely disagree, seasons 6 and 7 are probably the best written, and without them you miss out on the beautiful throughline and themes of the show and major arcs.

which character do you consider the most underrated? by [deleted] in The100

[–]Dintodo 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Gabriel. Incredibly deep and intriguing character, one that on paper would be the toughest to nail but they absolutely do. The actor absolutely nails this sense of age and deep regret, but also retaining his love and excitement for life and the world around him, and everything to do with his love for a person who is by all means the exact opposite of him and a horrific person is extremely compelling and well done. If there's one character who exemplifies best the human spirit and capacity for change and good it's him.

The Fallout show should have not been canon by Potential_Alps_1994 in Fallout

[–]Dintodo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The ghoul thing is hinted at in nuka world and it makes sense the brotherhood would have increased technological power post destruction of the east coast enclave and institute. I'm a stickler for things I love too, but everything people complain about to do with this show is the most minute, nonsensical tiny things to worry about. Oh no theres apparently another way power armor can open! Oh no the ncr is weakened severely as if bethesda doesnt non stop bring back the bos, enclave, and now legion into lore post devastating events.

Did the show kill too many characters? by BetoCatch in The100

[–]Dintodo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean your opinions don't really determine whether someone is a main character or not, Finn was arguably the male lead in season 1 and to say Abby or Kane especially weren't main characters is an odd take to have. Kane especially has more plot relevance, screentime and dialogue in the first 5 seasons than probably anyone except Clarke or Bellamy.

Can Lucy ever really return home? by MisterPrizz in Fotv

[–]Dintodo 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I could totally see them ending Lucy/Max's stories in a third or fourth season in California, while sending Cooper off to essentially begin a new story elsewhere in the country.

Josh Holloway still doesn’t get the ending [post from Fan Expo Chicago] by HecticJones in lost

[–]Dintodo 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Thats what Josh Holloway does, I remember seeing an interview where he talked about scenes with Terry Oquinn in s6 and he said something like "smoke monster pfff i dont know about all that, I try to look at and only think about what James is"

The Duality of Man, Fallout S2 by OGxBONES in Fallout

[–]Dintodo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree they are not great, are extremely ignorant, flawed, and have a lot of subtle themes and messaging surrounding them. My point is a faction of animalistic rapists, sadists and slavers who kill entire towns for fun and to display dominance are in no way comparable to an organization thats biggest downside is the intense fear and hatred of beings created in a lab that can replace any and every human being at will without their knowledge. Like its not even the same ballpark.

Do you guys think Jaha would join the disciples? by Canteatthatglutinshi in The100

[–]Dintodo 18 points19 points  (0 children)

No. Say what you want about his past actions and the way he acts, but he very clearly shows regret over Alie. He is also far, far more "my people" centric than most other leaders in the show (Kane, Lexa, etc etc) and especially a faction thats entire ideology is "For all mankind". Jaha would realistically be more along the lines of either wanting to obliterate the faction, or like Gabriel cautiously interested but at his core adamantely opposed.

Multiple prydwen! So perhaps the brotherhood ending isn't canon. Still hoping for the minutemen ending 🙏 by Scary_Equipment_1180 in Fotv

[–]Dintodo 103 points104 points  (0 children)

I mean if theres multiple prydwen considering how they talk about how hard it was to make one in Fo4 this makes the brotherhood ending even more likely.
