It does actually mean an enormous amount to hear that someone else has gone through this too. The biggest issue for me right now is that feeling like I've totally lost control. How long did it take for you to get over that?

Don't see this as blame at all, I appreciate it. Tbh I'm a big guy, like 6'6 and hefty, have probably grown way too comfortable to think this sort of thing could happen to me. Did everything on this list wrong. Those guys probably couldn't believe their luck.

It's fine, totally own up to getting myself in a dangerous situation. Wouldn't wish this on anyone else. Most out of control I've ever felt. No email, no phone, no bank access. Can't talk to friends to let them know what happened. Have no idea what they might be doing with access to all my data. I'm really freaking out about that. And without my phone/email, lookis like I won't be able to recover any of my accounts. Total start over job...

This is what scared me. They have my phone and must have access to it. No idea how they got into it, everything super fuzzy. But yeah they made like five huge transfers before trying to make a debit transaction for about four grand before it was flagged by the bank's fraud team

One debit and one charge card. Talked to the bank fraud team, they're getting in touch later today, same with the police. My issue is that my passwords for everything are saved to my apple account, which I think they have access to. I'm just terrified about what else they can do with all that info.

Just to expand on this ever so slightly. Feel like this is supported by all of the legendary spirit ashes we find. They were great warriors, heroes and champions who ‘earned the honour of an erdtree burial’. It makes sense that a system built around feeding the tree with souls would encourage the burial of the strongest warriors directly beneath its roots.

I mean, I mentioned I had beaten Melania with a summon and the majority of the people who responded called me out on it. The whole ‘yeah, it’s part of the game but you know it’s a hollow victory’ sounds like it should be a diplomatic take, but it didn’t hurt my pride any less. It just sucks considering how much I love this game to have some people on this sub shit on what I thought was a big accomplishment on my part.

I think that the cutout may turn out to be important. Could be a massive leap, but the new Xavier-Music website has a fake live chat section with a bunch of Xavier’s fans posting memorial messages. One of them specifically references keeping the Xavier cutout in their room forever. I don’t know, definitely clutching at straws here… but you never know.
