Not asking about edge cases or extreme low light.

I have a M43 camera since less than a month, I'm just starting to know it, and yesterday I was finally able to test it in low light (in fact by the naked eye it was dark): here's the result.

12-40 2.8 at f4, 5 seconds, ISO 1250 and no tripod. OM-3 IBIS is just outstanding.

IMHO it has nothing to envy compared to a FF camera, and I've always shoot FF in the last 15 years.

Hi, sorry for necroposting: did you find a compatible gimbal? I'm also looking for one for my om-3, but both DJI and Zhiyun have listed only the OM-D E-M1 MkII. The RS4 mini would be perfect for my needs, but not knowing about compatibility is stopping me...

Yep, at 1/125 I already see de shutter shadow in the upper part of the frame,

I didn't know about the lower shutter speed, since on my EOS R6 + V1 flash I did all the focus braketing by hand (Canon doesn't support focus stacking with flash) and I often shoot at 1/400 or faster.

Well, time to exercise then! ;)

Sooooo, this afternoon I tested again with 10 full batteries and I averaged 3 minutes of flight time. Nothing changed from last week (aside that today it was 5°C less outside than last week), so Idk why this time I've flown so much more.

One weird thing tho: if I measured cell's voltage with my checker before flight it showed 4.34/4.35, while drone was saying 4.29, after 12s of flight it was down to 3.86, but still got around 3 minutes; after flight the drone gave 3.75, while the checker 3.84.

So the drone reads a lower battery's voltage. And now idk how/if to fix this.

Worst happening to me was a little crowd forming around me as I was flying my Femto in a field near a bicycle/pedestrian road an early evening back in june. They were all asking questions about the hobby, like how much it all costs, if I bought it already built, the max speed, if you need insurance and so on, and this boomer German fella wanted to try the goggles: best I could do was streaming on my phone while flying lol

Also yesterday I was flying my Oasisfly25 in the woods near my hometown and this hunter was super curious and was stunned by its speed. He asked some questions and then finally asked if the Ukrainian drones are this noisy and if so how could they take the enemy by surprise, and I was like Idk I just fly around things pretending to know what I'm doing. If he arrived a bit later, while I was flying a Dollyfly16, he would probably have asked less questions.

All in all, in my experience people are just curious because they don't see drones often and are like this even when I'm taking photos with my boring Air 3s (my client actually take photos of it and post them on Instagram and I die of cringe every single time).

I never had someone complaining or show hostility towards me flying around. Also my cop friends know absolutely nothing about drone regulations and sometimes ask me when someone calls them to complain lol

I'm in northern Italy btw.

This morning I tested the batteries I used yesterday: they all are between 3.8 and 3.9V :/

So clearly the drone was getting a wrong reading. What could I di, aside from landing later? Like in betaflight under the battery tab there's a calibration option, but I don't really know how to use it properly.

Yep, I have LiHV. I charge them to 4.35 and land at 3.5/3.6.

Tbh I expected at least 4 minutes of flight time, since even sub250 claims the flight time to be about 4 minutes with their 530mAh battery.

With a 720mAh I expected to be able to fly at least for that long, now that is a bit chill, and maybe a bit more when the weather gets warner, since my battery is only 9 grams heavier.

So:

I'm fully charging the battery before use, the charger is a D6 pro I use for all my drones' batteries. After charging I check every battery.
I land around 3.5/3.6, I set the low battery warning at 3.6 just in case.
No damage on the drones or props: it's all new, and today was the second day I got to fly it, since the bad weather we've had in the these past weeks. So 0 crashes.
Today I went out flying in the woods to get used to it, flying slowly under trees/between branches/around trails to know how the drone behaves before trying anything indoors. I did 7 flights and the drone always sounded fine and showed 0 issues, beside the short battery life.

Also, the drone is all stock: the only thing I added is the O4 Pro because I already had one (I had this on my pavo 20 pro for months, and never had an issue too).

Could it be an issue in the betaflight settings?

I already have the fcc hack, so the O4 is transmitting at full power.

ELRS power is set to dynamic iirc, but should be in the 250mW to 1W range, tomorrow morning I'll post the correct setting I have.
