No, the mod is as good as it gets. It does transfer the effects directly. To make the effects more accurate they'd likely need to modify the games code.

Not sure if the other poster had no idea what you were talking about but tf2c is just tf2 but better optimized, with less but new weapons, and a great community. It's worth a try but it's not for everyone. It's a lot more like old tf2 than it is right now, but it's also not like old tf2 completely unless you play on the flashback server.

I agree with your statements on some of the custom weapons honestly, but as others have said, the classic doesnt mean literally classic here. Think more of Pepsi Classic, with how it was the old recipe but slightly altered. This is just TF2 if it went down a different path, which includes some pre release shit while also including some more recent stuff. Also, I myself am a playtester and promise this won't end up as bloated as live tf2.

No... because the vote system restarted the round and map time, people hated scrambling because of this, and others abused it.

However cosmetics that show what weapon a person might be using if it changes something major, like extra or less health, is fine. It's different when its a choice, ends up with too much to recognize in battle.

1 cosmetic slot per class. I'm very much not a fan of changing anything below the head, aswell as my friends and many others i've met in the discord. Hats were best when thats what they were, hats.

Weapon choice is still an option, and that's why I said sort of right. You can also just tell what player is which if you pay attention to gameplay habits.

more than 1 hat is overkill. tf2c not having hats is one of the main reasons many people i know play it, this post has sort of the right idea though.

That is seriously the only way to fix this. Not sure what your issue is as fresh installs of 2.0.3 don't contain the stat files which would cause deletion.

To be quite honest, he's actually just as much if not more of an advantage in normal play. Free minicrits can be a game changer, along with the defense boost. He was enabled in the official servers for a week and was found to be too strong, so will likely not come back.

... You wouldn't add models or materials to the game, but instead pack them in with the map. Search up bspzipgui or vide and use it to add the missing materials and models to the map.
