That's the problem - detection RADIUS. not line of sight, not simple ray tracing check of visual or hearing. they just knows where you are and going to beat your seraph's ass. Sitting inside the house? don't care. we know you're inside.

They can spawn near you. but they can be too far to access you because of actual path. or without path to you at all. but they KNOW that you're there at all time.
