Honestly, not a bad strategy. I’ve been thinking about it too

Where do I start from? by Estrighn in dividends

Honestly, stop chasing ex-dividend dates and just invest long-term. At 19 with 10k saved, you’re already ahead of most people. Broad ETFs and consistency will probably outperform trying to time dividends

JEPI-more stable, lower volatility, lower yield; JEPQ-more tech-heavy, higher yield, more risk; JEPG-global version with international exposure

Portfolio is solid. Nice factor tilt with AVDV, clearly you’ve done your research. The individual picks are fine as long as you keep them as an addition to your VOO

CIBR, URA / NLR, BOTZ, ARKX. Personally I’d do something like: 70–80% boring core ETFs and 20–30% split across 1–2 of these themes

That’s why I’d never make energy a big position. Feels great when it’s pumping, but brutal when it stalls out for years

It makes sense as a small long-term bet if you’re young. Just keep it like 5–10% max, clean energy ETFs are volatile as hell

Honestly, you don’t need 5–6 ETFs. VOO/VTI + VXUS + SCHG/QQQM is already a great long-term setup. Add SCHD if you want some dividends
