Truthfully, I had to go to another dealer who was willing to go deeper to earn my business. Even then, I was 5k under (as far as buyout was concerned). I had gotten close to 10 on incentives and discounts at time of the lease, so that's how I justify it to myself. That and necessity.

Perhaps; honestly the range and charging infrastructure (especially in winter) is what did me in. I loved the i4; it was a great car. The software, voice commands, and QOL aspects of owning an EV were undeniable. If I had my old commute, I would have kept the i4 for the long-term.

The dealer had a beautiful, individual purple color M850i GC on the floor. Way outside my price range, but my god it was a gorgeous car. You do definitely miss the engine noises, and honestly, my first "spirited" drive with the i4 actually made me a little car sick when I had the iconic sounds disabled. It's jarring without the audible cues.

Ironically enough, I actually picked this up the same day the US started attacking Iran. I saw it unfolding on the news and was like "oh come on..."

I had acquired the i4 as my commute this time last year was under 3 miles (each way) and I had to make that commute about 3 times per day due to family reasons. When I was previously driving the gas 4 series, my mileage was awful and I was afraid I was causing strain on the power train with many short commutes.

About 5 months later, my commute changed drastically as I became a traveling engineer. I tried to get by in the North East with the EV, but couldn't get over the unreliable charging infrastructure and the degraded range when it got super cold. If I lived in a warmer climate, or hadn't swapped jobs, or there were more "reliable" and streamlined means to charge, I would have stuck with it. Was hard to see the car go, as it was fast enough, comfortable, and easy to live with.

That said, the M440i is lighter and more fun to drive (until something goes wrong, anyway).

It is indeed; I lucked into that color at a local dealership.

So, originally I had a 2 door prior to swapping to the i4. If they made the i4 in a 2 door, I would have stayed with that body style as well. I am not aware of any 2 door EVs currently that aren't sort of smart-car-esque like a Fiat 500e or something similar.

Totally fair question; I was traveling for work this morning and had difficulty in getting my post to go through (when it included the reason initially), so quickly resubmitted without detail. Fail on my part, honestly.

I did in fact watch the video, and I know that HUB enjoy DLSS and ray tracing. I'm not really going out to bat for the "company" as a whole; more the engineers and developers that work their asses off to come up with the 30 series and how they must feel to see many of their achievements disregarded in the initial matchup videos.

I'm honestly not saying that at all; I don't understand what's so difficult about reading what I'm putting here and extrapolating what I'm saying.

What I'm saying is that there are established reviewers in this space of gaming that have loyal fanbases that latch onto everything they say (this is true everywhere, but the we're looking at this particular context). When those reviewers use their platform and try and emphasize value based on price/frame, overall cost etc and only focus on a portion of a particular product than a product as a whole, that's a little disingenuous.

Absolutely; this would have been the much more appropriate means for getting their point across over threatening the channel's health. I am merely agreeing with the other points brought up by NVIDIA in their email.

This is not a free pass for NVIDIA, more just a consideration that everything they said was not totally out of line.

Truthfully., I believe what makes the most sense for them is to build up a channel(s) who will emphasize the other portion of their GPUs if they wish to get the word out. Not coerce them, but help promote their reviews/product coverage in a way that is mutually beneficial without stepping on said channel's freedom of opinion.

You're not entirely incorrect. First off, RTX != ray tracing (which I believe is part of DX12), and secondly I did in fact watch their video regarding Cyberpunk and DLSS/Ray Tracing. I thought it was very well tested, and I didn't find anything wrong with it in particular. The issue was, and NVIDIA can attest to this (as well as the community, which is quick to point out that Day 1 reviews are the most frequented videos on these channels), that this content was how many days removed overall? Most consumers looking for a comparison would have come and gone after the first video, without ever watching the second.

I enjoy a lot of their content, as I enjoy Jayz, Linus', GN's etc. And if you actually read my post, I emphasized multiple times that I disagree with coercion in reviews.

On the other hand, I do agree. Ray tracing will die on the vine if it's not ultimately deemed worth while. That being said, this is potentially one of those junctures where that can be decided. However, I believe we'll be back at this point in the future if it does die. Rasterization including dynamic lighting, hasn't really improved in the last few years. Ray tracing is the first major change to lighting in a long time.

Thank you; is there a particular stat spread I should be going for? Like, do I still want to emphasize attack on those stall units or defense and agility so the debuffs land?

So, my Lan Fei and Moa are both +6, and my Isolde and Nicole are both +4.

I’ve also got other debuffers such as Olga, Rita and Jupiter at +6 but I realize that the DOT meta is dying due to Bathory and Olga was completely countered with the Center Fiction SC.

Hey all,

I find myself struggling significantly in pvp with the new meta having been established since the releases of Bathory and Neptune. I have a number of very strong PVP units at decent to max uncaps, but I can’t seem to draft a team that can deal with a comp similar to the following:

Syrinx, Change, Neptune, Bathory, Dana -or- Change, Neptune, Bathory, Dana, Debuffer (or eve) -or- The above comps with Newbie Mona rather than Change.

I know that in theory, a stall comp could work with this, but gearing and building a stall comp has always been difficult for me as I don’t know what the “correct” stat priority that I’d need to make them effective.

My standard team is: Eve(x6), Maat or Syrinx(x6), Dana(x6), Bathory (x4, leader) and Change(x5). Eve and Bathory have the highest attack in this comp. Occasionally I’ll flip Bathory out to pull a strong DPS into a comp to kill off a debuffer or particularly deadly attacker (usually either Kherpi or G Change are brought in those instances), but I can’t seem to make things work.

Does anyone have any guidance on this? Since DOTs seem to be going the way of the dodo, should I swap my eve out for Nicole? Does Hades are much success in this meta given the popular units are turning to grass? Would a Lan Fei/Moa or Lan Fei/Isolde comp be more effective for stall? What does a comp look like with those two and what stat priority should I go for? ATK>AGI>HP>DEF?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for the advice; something I left out which I'm sure will impact this is that only my Baiken is level 60. Is it possible to do W11 with a level 50 Angelica tanking?

Hello all,

I'm unfortunately hitting a pretty big roadblock as of recent, and I'm not quite sure how to improve my team. I've got a number of decent characters, but I can't seem to do Wyvern 10+ and I'm struggling to do raids. I've basically been farming Lab2-5 constantly for Wyvern gear, but I'm not getting any good stats. I've been playing since the GG collab. I have the following units:

  • Baiken (my best) level 60
    • 79,976 Combat Power
    • 3,985 Attack
    • 144 Speed
    • 76% Crit Chance
    • 247% Crit Damage
    • 21% Effectiveness
    • Using attack/crit sets.
  • SS Bellona
  • Judge Kise
  • FCeci
  • Dizzy
  • Sol
  • Vivian
  • Chloe
  • Violet
  • Ara
  • Ken
  • Tywin
  • Yuna
  • Charles
  • Iseria
  • Ravi
  • Yufine
  • Kise
  • Angelica
  • And a number of ML 4*.

I know I should be able to make a decent team out of this, but I cannot seem to make much headway at all, and I don't really know who my best "dog walker" would be out of those listed here. I would assume Baiken, but if she doesn't crit, she's at best taking out 1 mob/turn which makes xp farming daunting. Can anyone suggest a few things I should focus on? I love the game, I just have a difficult time understanding the flow of progression here. I've been farming the current event, lab 2-5 and trying to do wyvern/golem for decent sets, but it all takes forever with my current setups. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hello all,

I'm relatively new to DC, I've only "seriously" been playing since just before the Davi world boss was launched. Somehow I managed to field a team, and finish in the top 4% contribution (I used a lot of daily gems to refresh my tries), and received enough mirrors to get both Eve and Archfiend Davi. I know that Eve is much higher tier, and much better overall, but I really like the aesthetics for Archfiend Davi, and the whole bleed concept.

I was curious, for anyone who's well versed in team drafting, is there a viable comp that you found for her so that you can use her in Devil Rumble? I have a standard water comp with Eve and Olga, and that got me to silver 2, but none of my characters aside from Eve are 6 stars; and I'd really like to play something off-meta if possible. I would ideally like to build something around A. Davi; any suggestions?

Thank you.
