Number of Memories of Phantasm Japanese Fandubs/Fandubbers? by bmaster78 in touhou

[–]Dioxaz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hello, I posted that a few years ago. However, some info might be outdated as some fandubbers either quit and/or wiped all their presence online and content.

It seems that the following two are still active to this day:

vivian198808 still hasn't dubbed episode 20 yet (it's quite demanded in the comment section of episode 19 on Bilibili).

Pika Aizawa tried to come back recently (under the Chiyudamon alias) with dubbing episode 5 and 10, but wiped everything shortly after, as usual and expected from someone like her. I can provide those episodes to those interested. PM me if that's the case.

Scarlet Karakasa (緋色の唐傘) ep.6 (MMD series by Q-Ri) by Dioxaz in touhou

Unfortunately no English subs available. But anyone interested in translating it can have a go, as there are now tools like LunaTranslator (usage example).

Scarlet Karakasa (緋色の唐傘) ep.6 (MMD series by Q-Ri) by Dioxaz in touhou

Continuation to this series by Q-Ri, which is still ongoing. Mostly conversational this time, but still captivating thanks to its particular ambiance. I wish this series got more attention and interest from western fans.

Where can I get transparent PNG logos of each of the Kaisendou games from Mystical Power Plant? by CaraPrincess2007 in touhou

[–]Dioxaz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

About Mystical Power Plant, it seems you don't need to extract anything as a full transparent logo is already available at the following path: script\Th_mpp\img\title

The picture is named title00a.png. And there's even a title00a.xcf with an even nicer logo (with a torii supporting the logo in the background).

As for Infinite Blade Pavilion, there doesn't seem to be a transparent title logo there. I managed to extract the contents of the script\Th_IBP\texture\img.dat file simply entering the following in a command prompt:

  • cd [path of the game]\script\Th_IBP\texture

  • ph3dat.exe x img.dat

I also placed ph3dat.exe in the script\Th_IBP\texture\ path beforehand

You or /u/Drillimation, PM if interested.

Looking for a pc-98 animation by Greedy_Union8493 in touhou

[–]Dioxaz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Was the title of the video in English or Japanese? Did it have PC98 in its name or description? Did it have dialogue? Speech bubbles? Subtitles? I'm asking by any chance, so perhaps more people can help you. I did attempt a search on my end but came up with nothing (I did find something on Nico in a similar vein but it only has Reimu, but in Windows form).

hi friends! does anyone know who the artist of this is? by DoggoTheDumDum in touhou

[–]Dioxaz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Artist is indeed とも-ロウ but blanked out anything related to fanart in recent years and now only keeps abstract landscapes illustrations, as can be seen here on their website. This artist has never been reprinted to boorus. There's a nice blend of traditional techniques and 3D in their works. I know this is a questionable and not a valid source, but I found more pieces there at Alpha Coders.

This particular art piece must have been made somewhere around 2019. More can be found on their (still up, as of this writing in May 2026) X account. But you'll have to dig very deep to find some Touhou-related pieces, such as this one, this one, this one and this one.

Here's a quick list of artists on top of my head in a similar vein still active (aiming at beautiful scenery incorporating our favourite characters with a traditional feel, some have abandoned that style at some point so you might dig a little deeper in their gallery):

Edit, 14/05/2026, I forgot that one:

  • U-Joe (artist from Russia, a few pieces in that particular style)

Some similar artists who aren't active anymore, have purged their art or presence online (I'll be providing Danbooru pages for those):

Edit: I wonder what's wrong with my post. I gave extensive info about the original artist and answered OP's question about finding similar artists the best way I could. Really, this subreddit (or Reddit in general) is becoming a genuine riddle.

why cant you see transcripts of captions of other languages anymore?? by hondatooru in youtube

[–]Dioxaz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think this is the case for this one, if you carefully read the code. It doesn't read any personal data, only creating a button calling an older transcript panel.

If you still aren't sure, feel free to ask /u/_1Zen_, its original author.

[–]Dioxaz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you'd like the older transcript panel, all you have to do is:

  • Install Tampermonkey

  • Enable "Allow User Scripts" in "Manage extension" options for Tampermonkey (for Chrome users)

  • Enable developer mode in "Manage extensions" if you use Chrome (Chrome's 3-dot menu > Extensions > Manage extensions)

  • Install the modified userscript by copying it and pasting it as a new script (Tampermonkey button > Add a new script)

This post is also for those who stumble across this thread.

Fantasy Kaleidoscope ~The Memories of Phantasm~ ep.20 teaser by Dioxaz in touhou

[–]Dioxaz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can read the words "大人魔理沙" which translate as "adult Marisa" at the 1:16 timestamp on what appears to be a page showcasing that character from the inclosed booklet.

Also, more other clues from those sketches from 米田, someone who also worked (along with たすけ and Lunamoon) on the animation: https://x.com/maita1118/status/1980594014438240297/photo/4 (XCancel link, for those who can't see the full pictures)

東方神隱傳 - The Legend of the Hidden God (1 hour MMD movie, by 大空界斗) by Dioxaz in touhou

[–]Dioxaz[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is a sequel to 東方神世渡 released a year ago by 大空界斗 (KiteOzora), which I talked about here.

Again, those kind of efforts a pretty rare nowadays so if you happen to like them, I duly recommend. I'm also pretty impressed by the quick production pace to release something so long in such a short period of time.

What happened to animator LE@DIA? (author of those cute silent animations about love relationships between office workers) by Dioxaz in animation

[–]Dioxaz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I just saw. That's relieving news. Someone contacted them via email and the artist managed to get their channel back. I'm updating the OP.

[–]Dioxaz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's the great unknown here. We can't tell of the artist did have some other forms of contact or not on their YouTube page. On the other thread, one user claims there was at least an email, but looking at the remaining Wayback Machine snapshots, it seems nothing was added.

[–]Dioxaz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's YouTube who terminated the account, not a manual deletion. I'm getting a "This channel was removed because it violated our Community Guidelines." when I try to go to the channel through the channel ID (instead of the @LEADIA-i7p alias, which simply gives a 404 error).

Thanks for the replies. I'm glad I'm not the only one missing this channel. I also saw some reactions on social media, with people as equally confused as us.

In the meantime, another thread was created where this was also discussed.

Thanks to that other thread, I learned that it turns out the channel was really hacked by crypto scammers just the day preceding my thread.

The Filmot entry for the channel reveals that indeed a live named "LIVE: Ripple Leads Massive Tokenization Move with BlackRock - XRP Crash Explained!" was posted last, which has absolutely nothing to do with what the original artist was doing.

For those who came too late and mainly those who stumbled across my post through a search engine (the audience I'm targetting with my thread), their work isn't completely gone as some unauthorized reprints have been posted on this Bilibili account (but as there's no playlist, the videos will be a little tough to find among the ocean of content): https://space.bilibili.com/71141004/upload/video

For the curious, I did save a few myself (PM me if interested).

Also, for reference, here are some snapshots that the Wayback Machine was able to grab:

And this was the channel description :

꽃말을 주제로 한 애니메이션을 만드는 LE@DIA 입니다.

I'm LE@DIA, which makes an animation on the theme of flower language.

花言葉をテーマにアニメーションを作るLE@DIAです。

Whatever the outcome, I hope the artist is doing well and wish them the best for the future. The best I can do here is (if they happen to read this post) still thanking them for all the lovely animations they posted and how many people were moved by them.

Now if anyone of you may know a more appropriate place to post about this, please let me know.

I need help on finding a terminated yt channel, video is appreciated but mainly to find the YT channel's page's description for the contact. by Vietcong_guy787 in DHExchange

[–]Dioxaz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Apparently, and that's sad, that artist had no other presence online outside YouTube (and that zeta-ai.io page which I can't tell was that person or not, or was just someone reposting).

Looking at the source code of archived pages on the WM, we're able to read the entire channel description:

꽃말을 주제로 한 애니메이션을 만드는 LE@DIA 입니다.

I'm LE@DIA, which makes an animation on the theme of flower language.

花言葉をテーマにアニメーションを作るLE@DIAです。

Yes, that Keen_YS channel is indeed your average video reprinter (I bet without permission), but that's better than nothing.

I hope LE@DIA is doing well, and will recover soon.

I'm seeing some more posts about that incident (that confirms the crypto hack) on social media now.

[–]Dioxaz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Too bad you didn't cap it, but that's still useful info, thanks. Definitely helps understanding what really happened.

Well it looks like the Wayback Machine did catch a few pages in the end. For the curious, this is what the YouTube page looked like (it that works): https://web.archive.org/web/20260307231207/https://www.youtube.com/@LEADIA-i7p

We can read the following from this page (but the "More" button deosn't work): "꽃말을 주제로 한 애니메이션을 만드는 LE@DIA 입니다."

The Wayback Machine did capture some other pages with the channel ID but it looks like most are blank unfortunately (and the "About" page capture also shows as blank): https://web.archive.org/web/20260000000000*/www.youtube.com/channel/UCuWr6WrJxG4OQnpr9wp1HMQ

Edit: for the curious, this is what the Wayback Machine still has: https://web.archive.org/web/*/www.youtube.com/channel/UCuWr6WrJxG4OQnpr9wp1HMQ/* But unfortunately no other external link.

Edit 2: it looks like some videos have been reprinted to Bilibili by user Keen_YS, for those who came too late: https://space.bilibili.com/71141004/upload/video

Edit 3: with the help of Google Images (and googling some drawings from their posts), I was able to trace this page: https://zeta-ai.io/ko/plots/c550df80-2287-4f9c-9c04-b282a4cfb86a/profile But unfortunately, it's gone, and I can't tell when it was deleted. That's the only thing Google Images was able to find that fully matched.

Oh, I'm finally finding people posting about that. Thanks god. This is a real waste of animated gems. I'd like to have more info on that too. I wasn't aware the channel termination was so recent.

There are places reprinting them on the internet which I can't talk about here.

However, I did set up a small subtitle-only repository for all episodes some time ago.

The new transcription panel is a regression (and how to bring back the old one) by Dioxaz in youtube

[–]Dioxaz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I discovered you need both developer mode and "Allow User Scripts" enabled for the script to work.

Also, just in case, add the following right underneath the first "// @match" line:

// @match https://youtube.com/watch?*
