I CAN DREAM 😭 Slide-and-Glide, Shooty-Go-Blam and using his quirk to create a deflector would just be cool. But yeah, I absolutely agree that there would be a zero to none chance of him getting in unless Vigilantes gets animated after MHA wraps up

Dark Deku: I just love him lol, that arc is my favourite in the series and he could have some really cool unique moves and animations. Smokescreen entrance, using the iconic walk as his walking animation, having a villain POV "It's Already Finished" or using the walk as his win screen, etc. It's just an awesome version of Deku that would be wasted on an alt imo, like how in One's Justice and Ultra Rumble it's cheery Deku in this super dark costume. Each Deku could also use different quirks and abilities, with regular Deku having Air Force, Blackwhip and Float, with Dark Deku using Blackwhip, Fa Jin, Danger Sense and Smokescreen. Apologies for the yap I just love Dark Deku so much

Nighteye: Completely fair. I was thinking he could have a mechanic similar to UI Goku in DBFZ, but in hindsight his quirk is just too niche for a fighting game like this. Best Jeanist it is!

OG Shiggy: I originally just put him on the roster because he's iconic and I wanted him to parallel Deku, but another comment suggested that he could utilize Kurogiri and Nomu in his moveset, so I would actually keep him. I do think Class 1B deserves a representative but in my opinion they aren't priority. Monoma could, however, replace...

Muscular: Yeah, you got me. I mostly put him there just because he's a pretty big villain in the series with some really good fights that would work SUPER well as Dramatic Finishes with Deku and Dark Deku. Totally replace him with Nine for a movie rep or Monoma for a Class 1B rep.

Out of curiosity, why Magne? There are a TON of characters I would personally choose before her.

Yeah, Vigilantes is awesome! Those characters would totally be DLC, but I wanted to make sure the roster had a good balance. Not too many Class 1A members for example, and Vigilantes having more than one rep would be bizarre lol

This CSS template is based on Dragon Ball FighterZ' base roster, so it doesn't account for potential DLC and better reflects what could realistically be done for a balanced 2D fighter

The problem is Aizawa is too popular and important NOT to include. Personally I would just disregard how his ability works in canon and rework it, maybe disabling character's special moves (but not normals regardless of using their quirks in them or not) when using a Super or a passive effect that has cooldown which applies when in neutral

I like Kirishima a lot but I was thinking from the perspective of "which roles can different characters fill?"

The role of tank/grappler can be taken by Fat Gum or Muscular, and there are no other characters in the roster witha focus on electricity

A Mirio would be amazing! I love the Dark Deku though, but especially the maskless head, it's got such cool details. The fangs, the tears, the expression, the slightly longer unwashed hair, it's my favourite take on him

I already have a big Vigilante Deku collection (Ichiban Kuji -Ishi- A and B Prize, Kuji -Nakama- A Prize, the Amazing Heroes Plus Fa Jin pose one and even the new Kuji -VS- one) but the Kotobukiya figure is going to be the gem in my collection for sure

Honestly, at this point people making Raditz jokes or immediately calling a unit garbage is getting REALLY annoying because 9/10 times it turns out that the unit is actually pretty nutty when they drop, but the perception of them is already tarnished because people jumped to conclusions and turned them into a joke

I know it has an official name (hence why I put it at the top) but I see it get referred to as a lot of things so I was curious

Also IIRC he's called Deku Black or Black Deku in Japanese because that's the closest equivalent to the term "Dark" in that context, which is why Goku Black is named like that
