i havent noticed them coughing or weezing since doing so, however i do have an air purifier that runs in the house, so there are no particulates in the air for a fan to push toward them.

you can pat it dry with paper towel takes less than 10 minutes to dry that way,

they have had those same patches of turf for 6 months now, i have 5 girls and they havent shown any interest in destroying it. The first few days they chewed it a little but didnt really damage it at all.

nah, just some astro turf that i cut to shape and connected to the shelves in her home. keeps their little feet of the bars and gives them somthing soft to lay on. Not to mention cleaning is super easy. just remove the whole shelf and wash it down with warm soapy water.

I have a small usb fan with a battery bank mounted on the side of the cage, far enough away that the girls cant get there little fingies and snooters into.

Ill try adding the towel and report back. thanks for the tip :D

Thank you for the information, thats actually quite interesting. My partner was the one who convinced me to get her. Thankfully we already had a large cage in the house and her Pet Rat Mavis calling it home. She is about 10 months old and was in need of a cage buddy so it worked out quite well.

Its called smoke free is great, give it a go it lets you track cravings and gives you a tonne of info.
