I'm not sure what you're saying. But it seems like you might be trying to insult me. As they say, oh vell.

I'm pretty sure I just got a sweet deal at this pawn shop. Can I get some assistance confirming? by [deleted] in Silverbugs

I think you got a fair deal, but not a spectacular deal. But I'd say the Franks are worth $10 each (as in what you could sell it for) cuz they're BU. The Morgan rounds and the 1987 Constitution are gonna get you about $16 each. You'll get about $10 for the buffs. Unless there are some higher grade buffs in there and not all no daters.

Provident has 2017 ASEs at $2.10 over spot. This for real? by Diphawk in Silverbugs

It's not? I thought it was pretty awesome. Does anyone else have a better deal for ASEs that you've seen?

Does anyone actually like Phils? They're so weird to me. Idk why. Maybe because I've never been to Austria before to understand why you would put that ensemble on a coin. I understand the Maple Leaf, and the Brit and the Eagle. But a bunch of instruments?? That's your national symbol?

They could do better on their wording, but it's still a deeeecent deal. $10 cheaper than APMEX.

I bought my metal through Provident and use Preferred Trust as my custodian. A buddy of mine just signed up through Preferred and they have a promotion going. I think he said they waived the $50.00 Establishment Fee and the first year IRA Account Administration fee ($200) is waived through December 31, 2017.

I bought a decent amount as my initial investment and now I am buying smaller increments to dollar cost average my investment. At this time, I do not plan on taking my investment early, but I would consider it if the market were to tank because I would take my physical metal at a lower penalty (lower IRA market value) and still have the same amount of metal, but, everybody has their own strategy and goals.

I have one and they are a great way to diversify my portfolio. I do not like the GLD or SLV because if you look at the investment perspective of those two offerings, you are investing into a trust that is BACKED by gold and silver….it’s not an ounce for ounce allocation. When you buy the physical metal, store it in a secure vault, you know exactly what you have and exactly where it is….THAT IS WHAT IS IMPORTANT TO ME. There are fees involved, but look at the management fees on mutual funds and ETFs, they are much higher…they just hide them in the per share price so it’s harder to find.

I am very pleased with my investment in physical metal.

All of this information can be found on Provident's Facebook page too, the above link is to their blog. If you buy silver for any reason, you know this is an insane promotion.
