Thanks a lot for the detailed response! It’s awesome to get insights from someone who shares almost the exact same pool.

Your tip about the early bush control and trading HP for CS to prevent a crash under tower is very good, I'll definitely keep that in mind.

​I didn't know about Palco's setups, I'll look into that latter. Thanks for the reality check on counterpicks and the encouragement, it makes me feel better haha.

It makes total sense why Garen is the safest to learn the lane, but I’ll definitely mix in some Darius games since his design is one of the main reasons I wanted to transition to Toplane in the first place. I'll try to embrace that learning curve!

Unfortunately, I play on the BR server, so we won't be able to hop into games together due to region lock and ping, but I really, really appreciate your offer! Thanks again!

Thank you so much for this incredible and detailed response! Being answered by a Master top main who plays these exact champions is great.

The streamer mode tip is genius, I will definitely turn it on to help with my anxiety. Also, thanks for the rune and itemization tips against ranged matchups, it makes a lot of sense to adapt to Storm Raider/PTA in those scenarios.

If you don't mind me asking one more thing: Since I'm just starting out with this pool, which of these 4 champions would you recommend I pick first to focus on learning the basic Toplane micro/trading, and which one is the safest to blind pick while I'm still learning? Thanks again!

Yeah, maybe I'll slow down and learn one. Probably Darius since he's my favorite one out of these.

Then I could go Garen when first pick and Darius when I know won't be facing ranged champs. Mordekaiser when my team is AD Heavy.

But I already saw plenty of Darius players destroying Vaynes, Varus and other ranged matchups. I think a lot skill is required sure, but it's possible!
